Awesome bass. When I was younger the inexpensive guitars were like a piece of firewood with strings and some copper wound magnets stuck in them. Squiers of today are super great. There is no reason a guy couldn’t record an album, jam with friends or play gigs with one.

Got this as my first bass a couple months ago! Great bass!

I gig with this same bass, and it’s been really great. The concentric volume/tone pots were also a selling point for me, and certainly the 32” scale length.

Mate! So much fret buzz it's insane. Get a tech on that thing maybe? I 've watched several demonstrations of this bass and they all sounded great. If you're playing punk then maybe that's your set-up though, all things considered. I like a more rattle/buzz free sound and have seen this guitar deliver that. Yours does look cool though! Enjoy! In hindsight, might just be the way you've reecorded this?

I rest my thumb on the fretboard so when I pluck the strings, they hit the frets. Normally you can’t hear it that much, but I didn’t have my amp that high. That’s what you’re hearing. Appreciate the comment though! (Definitely get ya) 👍

“I guess I have an ear for difference between squier and fender” but don’t mention what that difference is in any way whatsoever. If you didn’t say this the rest of the vid would be great

Thanks buts it’s kinda hard to explain. And to be honest, sometimes I can’t tell, but usually I can and have an idea (I was just making a side comment). It’s basically a learned intuition (and IMO a completely other video to talk about). But anyways, thanks for the comment.
