Got this Telly and a "real"Fender '52 and a '73 Tele....The difference between the Squier and the others is.............a lot of money......so go to the shop and buy one as long as they are available...

You are right, dude. I used to spend too much time looking for the perfect tone. Now I know that the tone comes mainly from the musician, not from the gear. So it's worth spending serious time for improving the technique. Cheers!

The Vibrolux definitely won't hurt your tone! I just picked up the Classic Vibe Tele. in Tobacco Sunburst with the double binding and love it!!! Some of these Squiers are the best kept secret! You've given the best demo of these guitars I've heard! Damn' straight on the slide and you ain't too shabby with a pick either! Hell I'd jam with you anytime! Nice Demo!

I just picked one of these up. Mine is the Dark sunburst with Rosewood fretboard. The bridge and bridge pup are junk, but the neck pup is great, and a new bridge and bridge pup are easy fixes. Main thing is it feels and plays great. Best $375 Ive ever spent.

If Derek Trucks played a tele, this is what it would sound like. I like the finger style. Gotta grow my nails out now. Righteous bro. Thank you for showing this. I am also reminded of when Jimmy page whipped out the Danelectro for White Summer/Black Mountain Side. It is inspiring.

@ravenshield56 I agree. I'd like to put a seymour duncan in it sometime. It took some time to adjust the action, truss rod, and getting it where I like it. It's an amazing sounding guitar for that cheap. I can't really believe how much I like it.

Classic Vibe Teles are quite nicely made I think. I played a Thinline the other day and it was great. I might replace the bridge for the brass compensated saddled but other than that - pretty mint for under 400.00.

Really fantastic Teles for the money (and especially in the right hands. Excellent job, sir!). Tried one at a store recently and it came very close to my '52 RI, IMO, in looks and sound. The neck profile's not as beefy as the '52, which I prefer, for but I woudn't hesitate picking one of these up as a backup.

Me like: 0) Shows that it doesn't matter what it says on the headstock - it's a bit of wood with wires...some old-fashioned electricality... it's the guy (or gal) plucking the g-string wot counts. Good job... well done... fae Scotland/via London Engerland

That is absolute BUTTER!!!!. Been seriously considering a build. I want a '51 Nocaster (people in hell want ice water, too) but I am not refinancing the house to buy one. So, why not build one to those specs and not have to worry about playing a chunk of gold. Great video johntuggle.

Hi ! I'm in a discussion with a music store to buy a Squier Telecaster, and the guy is Ok to let me pay in 4 or 5 times. I've enjoyed this demo, and I like this Telecaster's sound. That's why I wanna ask a simple question, easy to answer to : How much costs this Telecaster ? I'll buy one soon, perhaps before the end of the week, don't know cause I'd like to have a guitar that's sounding well, and affordable (like all of us !!!). Thanks by advance to who would be kind to answer to me. CIAO BYE !

@Maafa1619 Yeah I think it's getting that way now, better to make your own guitar to the specs you prefer....as it seems Fender etc are bringing out new ones all the time but nothing really different or special about them.....all the Warmouth stuff seems nice yes...

@Maafa1619 Idon't agree....I have one of these and it's perfect...great action, exellent neck, nothing wrong with a slim neck at all, good if you don't have giant fingers....and the quality is amazing all the way---- classic vibe...and it sounds like it...BUT put on a modern pedal and you can get amazing rock metal tones too....

I agree with the gooped on urethane comment if you are talking about the neck finish. Many folks like a heavy urethane finish but I hate it and always end up removing it. BUT, you are totally wrong about this guitar being a POS.I have one that was a gift. With all Fender quality levels, you do need to be selective. Mine is a really nice heavy tele and as good as any I have had. I've only been playing 50 years so what do I know? Mr Tuggle has found a real niche and knows what he talking about.

I believe that john is making two points here to those whos make the review for what it is. He identifies that the fender vibrolux is carrying alot of the tone and the overdrive so that being said you get the idea that the amp is worth the tone.....then comes to the point that you get to understand that with the pick ups you can still have a sweet spot. BUt what if its not the vibrolux then what.
