how is the neck feeling? and also action?
@fritzsguitars17 күн бұрын
Action on mine is now approx. E 1,7mm and e 1,3mm. I m not sure if I sanded the back of the neck for satin/smooth feeling or not. Guitar is on another location right now. Size is like standard Fender/Squier... I had 40th anniversary, Sonic HT, Sonic Esquire and all to me had the same thickness, shape. Only the satin lacqure on the 40th back had a perfect smooth feeling. Hope this could help you.

Got this today and returning it tomorrow, sorry , I wanted to like this but , I love the look , but it had sharp edges on every single fret hurt my hand to go up and down on it , and then the humbucker sounded thin and shrill almost like a single coil . Just felt and sounded worse than 160$ asmuse or donners , in fact those guitars are leagues better , the only cool thing about this guitar is the finish , I guess if you wanted to mod it but man I had the roughest neck I ever played highly disappointed. More so in the sound of the pickup very very weak and shrill , I'm playing it through a fender mustang Lt 25 .

This sounds exactly like what I expierenced with this orange Squier HH Tele kzbin.info/www/bejne/g2mUZ6itlp6JeKc A nightmare of quality. Really disappointing that they put QC sticker but not doing QC check. At least they are selling a new product which should have no issues beside basic setup. Sorry to hear

do u have the sonic tele model?
@fritzsguitars5 ай бұрын
Not sure what you mean, this is an squier sonic tele. or do you mean the version with neck pickup, this I do not have.
@ItsaCatsLife5 ай бұрын
@@fritzsguitars It's not a Tele, it's an ESQUIRE. Check the headstock. Telecasters have two single coil pups and have TELECASTER on the headstock. There is no ESQUIRE version that has the two pups (unless you mod one) Yes they share a body shape, but they are not a Telecaster. The Esquire was the first electric made by Leo Fender. Telecasters came much later.

I do not see it strict, even on fender squier page the esquire is an subpoint under telecaster. same body and headstock shape, difference only as you mentioned right, 1 or 2 pickups. For a real Esquire I would expect the 3 way switch and the special wiring as well :). At the end all just names and does not matter much, It is my Esquire Telecaster and I like it.
@tankdarla6373 күн бұрын
@@ItsaCatsLife if you wanna get all technical its not a true Esquire either, being routed for neck pup and not having a slanted single coil and it has a truss rod, but then again, Fender calls it an Esquire so it must be an Esquire lol

Looks great ..like the pick guard looks great I know you said its light weight do you know how much in lbs ? I saw a video on hear where a guy hooked a 3 way switch to it look like an easy mod and really changed it several tones and when he had the pickguard off it had a rout for a neck p/up well good work💯👍

Hi, the weight of the guitar is 7.3 lbs or 3.3 kg. Under the pickguard is a rout for a neck pickup too (size for an humbucker). 3 way switch with the special Esquire wiring for 1 pickup would be a nice add on, i like the idea to have a switch position to simulate a tone pot turned down.
