That's a neat build, definitely looks like an old furnace blower to me. I'd suggest measuring the power draw to make sure it's not above what the motor is rated for. These kind of fans are designed to operate under a fair bit of resistance. When they're used in a free environment like this, the output opening usually needs to be shrunk down several inches for the unit to operate at full designed speed.

This is neat build , even for a blower fan mounted on a pressure washer stand , this may have came from a furnace at one point , we've had at for a long time now , this belongs to my brother and I've been on vacation with him and his family so I thought I'd post some of his fans here , but from what sources have told me , these units work in a certain way , I don't have an amp drawer yet but I do need to get one .. They shouldn't be too expensive , I have a few of these I'm going to take home with me and see what's wrong the motors that went to them , when I get it posted .. Maybe you could give me advice on how these motors work and how can alter the resistance to these units . Thanks for watching Jordan !

You should really shield the capacitor leads on top. It can kill someone just by bumping into it by accident.

I could do that .. But the fan doesn't belong to me and this is when I was visiting family out of state .

Don’t run it with out some filters on the side they made to run with some intake restriction or they get hot turn off
