One of the main reasons why I have stayed as a subscriber is the camera angles. Then your clear and concise commentary with no nonsense 'pest control'. Good Job well done, Thanks for this.

Nice video bud, I’ve been checking my feeders over the last week or so and there’s very little grey action on most of them, even with peanuts in the feeders so might be a while before I get another grey video out.

love your channel, I am finding just now my peanut feeder is very quiet. I have taken 137 greys from it in just over 18 months. Is there a lot of natural food about just now for squirrels as all my shooting friends are exactly the same. Would i be better removing the feeder until the colder weather in Autumn comes in ? I just don't see many squirrels at the feeder just now. What do you think?
@lancsvermincontrol4 ай бұрын
Generally between July and September is the quietest as there is too much natural food about. I shoot my feeder usually December/January and June/July.
@jackreacher566725 күн бұрын
Good vid, I noticed different feeders, are you in a wood with the feeders spread around and are your hides static or movable.? You seem to have a good kill ratio , and your sights are well zeroed in , what distance have you allowed for,? and the greys are greedy /daft, have you ever found "splatter " a negative in there behaviour?.
@ClaymateDesigner4 ай бұрын
I wonder whether the reduction of Greys will promote more of the indigenous Reds.

Are squirrels really vermin though? What do they harm?
@lancsvermincontrol3 ай бұрын
Unfortunately they are a threat to the native red squirrel. They spread disease which causes suffering to the red squirrel. They damage trees and eat songbird eggs. That’s how they’re vermin.

hi friend. which is the British squirrel I know the red is American if im right and the greys are British. when America sent red squirrels here they did not get along with greys I believe is it true if so why did they not get along because i heard one was trying to kill the other.. any truth in it do you know.john blackpool.
@lancsvermincontrol4 ай бұрын
The red squirrel is the native one and the grey is the American one. The grey is bigger, stronger, more aggressive and more intelligent. They also spread disease to the red unfortunately.
