That was some amazing squirrel hunting! I never knew squirrels were actually red circular discs sitting in a tree! I have A LOT to learn about squirrels.

Smartass. Slim chance they would bag a squirrel with a slingshot while filming a how to video 🤷🏼♂️😂
@jesselee25492 жыл бұрын
So they named the clip before they filmed and edited it the did they...? It didn’t cross their mind to cut out the part where they didn’t find anything and just name it something else? It’s click bait.

As an 81 yearold Mo. Ozark hillbilly hunting skwrills, and rabbits with a hickory fork sling shot and rubbers made from pre ww2 red rubber innertubes was just a daily thing for me and same age cousins to do , never dreamed one could buy a fancy sling shot at a store, lol, good vid. :)

This has to be one of my favorite videos I’ve watched. We anticipate this ending with an ultimate result. It’s not about that. It’s about getting out there with nature, learning a concept from a newfound friend. This was just an awesome and outright wonderful video. It had a story line with value. Everything seems so commercial nowadays, but this had soul! Thank you!

When I couldn't get bands for my wham-o ,....I epoxied the slots shut,... then drilled holes in it and put in 1/4 inch rod and put round tubing on it. The wrist rocket sling shots still out do the others. If you want consistency you need a wrist brace. Unless you use weak bands,... to know the power of your slingshot you need to know the speed and weight of your projectile.
@j.snyder49572 жыл бұрын
no one that shoots competitive uses a brace. Thats only for the old fashioned wire framed Daisy F16 types...
@fixedfocusmediaofficial3 жыл бұрын
I like slingshots with a wrist brace. I usually go for heavy pull bands to which is something that a lot of slingshots don't come with out of the box.

Yes, eyewear and a jock cup are required equipment. A month ago I was using my Barnett Black Widow and a ricochet hit my father in law night in the ruts. I get 25 fpe with it, with 50 caliber steel balls. That's enough to kill raccoons, 40 pound hogs, and 50 pound coyotes. Awesome slingshot, can be outfitted to shoot arrows to kill 100 pound Texas hogs and 150 pound Axis deer... LEGALLY.

yes eye protection is important back in the early 60's i had a plastic slingshot i pulled pack and it broke at the top of the "Y" came back hit me in the eye at age 12 laid in the hospital for a week with patches over both eyes became nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other been wearing glasses ever since and have a cataract in one eye since that time quality equipment is necessary

@johnnygunz23005 жыл бұрын
Uhh takes more than three hits in a row to ethically hunt. Expect a solid year practice everyday for the average shooter. Slingshots are like traditional archery for the learning curve involved.... Except the distances for kills is similar and the target size it's way smaller (ie bow hunt a deer vs squirrel..... Big difference of kill zone @ 10-20 yards). I love slingshots butt it's not this easy.
