Squirrel Life 15 - Meet the Boomers Chapter 3: Winter Boomerland

Another funny video of the red squirrel trying to protect her turf. She owns that piano even when there is no food in it. The thing that cracks me up is the attitude of the black and grey squirrels towards the boomers. They mostly just ignore all the noise and fussing, even some of the attacks, and just go about their business. Sometimes they just avoid the conflict altogether. They are just quite laid back about the whole thing and that's funny to me.

I love your videos and I love squirrels. When I first started feeding my squirrels I fed them peanuts and sometimes peanut butter. What I learned from further research was that peanuts are not actually that good for the health of my little friends. What I feed them now is a mix of hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, and only a few peanuts occasionally. Cheers and happy squirreling.

I am now feeding them only walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts. I also bought macadamia nuts at great expense and they don't like them! LOL
