Beautiful sister. I converted from atheism to Protestantism then to Catholicism. I wholeheartedly agree with you that our personal relationship with Jesus is the most pivotal aspect of our faith. Thanks for sharing your story and may our God grant you many graces throughout your life.

It’s funny I’m 14 and catechumen in the church and I always pictured myself as a mother until about a year ago when I felt a strong gravitational pull from God to become a religious sister, I pray about it everyday and I still feel an attraction towards it! again I’m only 14 so things can change but I’ve been feeling a strong attraction

Sister Orianne, you are so beautiful and it is evident that God’s love shines through you. May our loving God and all His battalions protect and guide your every step. I would love to meet you and connect in our Faith journey…I felt I saw that younger me in you (a little bit). I am blessed in many ways and continue to preserve in discovering who I am according to His Will and all for His Glory in all that I do even in the trials. Thank you Lord for always loving me even when I wasn’t loveable.

This is such a beautiful testimony dear Sister Orianne. I have a daughter who became a sister 32 years ago, she is a member of the Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary in Germany. Despite many trials and tests before she entered, our Lord Jesus assured her this was His leading. I have to say her face still shines as yours does, may the Lord continue to be your Strength and Peace as you journey toward home.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Is there really a God? How can I be certain or convinced that He really exists or not? It seems that God doesn't exist.
@milanjurco39163 жыл бұрын
God really exist. Dedicate your heart to Him and he will respond. But you need to offer him your whole heart to be able to find Him. He is merciful and loves you as you are, so may start with thanking HIm for all good that is in your life.

God really does exist Adam! He is closer to you than you might think. Even in the darkness, God’s light overcomes and outshines (:

There are ways to help you discern God before you can determine your call to a vocation. One is looking at the creation of the world through the four causes. If you can’t go back very far in a wild animal’s pedigree, you would become amazed that a new creature can be born of the exact same species.

But don't you want to get married? You can live a meaningful and generous life in marriage.

And she can also live a meaningful and generous life as a sister as well. Her life is her choice.

@@Mjl449 All other things being equal, married life seems much better than being a nun.
@js1817 Жыл бұрын
@@Mjl449 Maybe she would find married life more satisfying. And to what extent is it really her choice? She's influenced by the sweep of a 2,000 year old religion that moves globally across the face of humanity like a wind. I hope she's happy, but maybe religious orders are a waste of time or less good than other options; not bad at all, but less good. Just imagining the other side, here.
