you can use the old tool for the b screw setting, if you use a shimano cassette.

I have now the same m8100 groupset , Really worth the change , from a excellent groupset like the Deore XT m8100 to the Sram GX AXS ? thank you for your honest opinion , coz i think really gonna help me to figure it out if worth the extra money in terms of performance and reliability !!

Hi, XT is perfect. In summary on SRAM, for what/how I ride, I do not see any improvement In terms of performance or reliability; they both just as good. However, I really enjoy the electronic/robot noise when shift, and how clean my cockpit is. As for maintenance, the battery needs charged every ~30 hours of riding time or so, and battery on the remote should last about 1.5 years. Bottom line for me I would upgrade again. Hope that helps.
