Nowadays smaller salons than this charge around 500 for a haircut and beard trimming or cutting. I think 700 will be bit ok since it's a tourist spot but you should have started out by saying you'll charged me 700 last time and to do the same.

I don’t recommend this saloon..they cheated you bro..here in Negombo we can get a haircut below Rs.500 in an air conditioned saloon..he told rs.300 is only for kids, that a totally lie..Even I cut my hair and beard only for Rs.500 ☺️

1000 is a reasonable price. In Kandy and Colombo, I spent around 700-1000 for hair cut and trim beard. So I don’t see any issue with cost.

Price depending on the salon. I pay Rs 750 for my haircut Yours a difficult cut. And it took almost an hour. Price he charge for head shave hair cut beard trimming and head wash is very reasonable. In this kind of a salon definitely it can be more than rs 2000= He did a excellent job. Safe journey have a wonderful stay.

When I go to Bangkok or any Chinese city they always charges a lot .definitely more than this . In Colombo I always pay more than 1500 rs for all the services including haircut and trimming my beard.
