Sinhalese people can also learn Hindi easily and faster than Tamil people because Sinhala language and Hindi language are like cousin languages.

I'm Muslim but that's not true. I know sinhala well, but there are tamils who speak sinhala as much fluently as me. If they can speak sinhala well, do u think they can't speak in hindi? In india hindi and English are the official languages, so even people from tamil nadu learn hindi.

I'm a sinhalese and I can sing indian national anthem from my memory even without never studying it, but i can't understand almost anything in Tamil. And also there is a Muslim person i know in my gym who immigrated to the Sri lanka from Gujrat when he was 10 years old and his mother tongue is hindi and Gujarati. He can also speak Urdu,Panjabi,Sinhala,Tamil and English. He told me that learning sinhala was easier than Tamil because of it's similarity to his native tongue hindi.

​@@unmouscat definitely can that's for our Sri Lankan brothers n probably the Indian Tamils have difficulty as they are the one condem the other languages not our Sri Lankan brothers they all are the same and love you all. Indian Tamils don't speak nice Tamil as our Sri Lankan Tamils. And again they are condemning other languages without any reason .. adarey kollo ❤❤❤
