When you put eggs its called egg hoppers . So they donet put eggs into the batter.. you missed 1 thing. its string hoppers. To get the best flavors you need to mix all the currys to gether with Rice. Dot tast currys separately

Good afternoon dear Tanmay- Wow - Finally we have the first VP vlog out on SLVP series . So we start with Ranbath Organic 👍 Good that it’s a Vegan Restaurant. You have ordered Red Rice along with 6 curries . The spread look appetising . Yes they are Hoppers / Aapam . Sambhal is a staple condiment ( just that one needs to a tad careful ) Nice Ambience 👌 Hoppers go well with coconut stew or chilli paste . Worth the price 💯 Time to savour Dal Vada with spicy chutney . Yes ; Coconut based Roti is also staple . Nice that you tried various options with different combos . The Banana-jaggery stuffing with wrap looks yummy ( basically a dessert ) . Now to attack the Rice & Curry ; Cassava dry curry , coconut stew , Channa Dal , Aubergine curry , Okra fry & Mushroom Sabzi . Happy that the spice level was a good hit for you as per your palate 👌👌 Good technical review of the curries & starters . Banana Pancake was a super hit ✅✅ Possibly the post meal spice kick was due to the fact that you might have had more than adequate of the Chilli seeds from the Chilli paste . Anyways you enjoyed & that’s what matters . Rs 900 for this wholesome dining experience is worth every penny 💯💯💯Perfect way to introduce SL cuisine vide your vlog number 1 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I could reminisce the taste of all the dishes that you tried ( barring mushrooms ) when I was there . This wait was a tad too long 😅 No two ways about it . Thoroughly enjoyed the vlog . You are back with a BANG 💥💥💥💥 Eagerly awaiting rest of the food series on VP vlogs . Good thing is that Sri Lanka has enough food options for Vegetarians 😊 Hopper looks like papad and is very tempting and delicious as does Rice curry and lentil vada, Without sweet Pikku we Indians can't live and our meal is not complete but pikku ka paet bar gaya hoga 😂 Amazing foodie dishes and fabulous content created as usual by my favourite and best foodie blogger @VeggiePaaji 👋👋 Awaiting more foodie vlogs from SL on @VeggiePaaji 👍 Lots of love and blessings to you Tanmay ❤

Hopper batter is always vegetarian. But u can add coconut milk or egg on top in middle of hopper. Not criticising but u need to stop comparing India to Sri Lanka. 😂

Be extremely careful. There is no concept of vegetarian food in Sri Lanka. Sambal is considered vegetarian which is mixed in almost all foods including vegetarian

Of course there is vegetarian food in Sri Lanka. Quite a few Sri Lankans are vegetarian.

@@vidyamadamanchi7091 i am so sorry to hear that. There are definitely so many veggie as well as vegan options in SL but you will ned some initial guidance from a local to figure things out! Btw if by "sambal" you mean coconut sambol then most of times that is veggie. Some people will add maldive fish chips to it so you gotta ask beforehand (because maldive fish is expensive, most people won't add it anyways lol).
