Sri Lanka celebrated a significant milestone in its tourism industry today, June 29th, 2024, by welcoming its one millionth tourist of the year. The milestone was marked by the arrival of a couple from Ireland, who landed at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake on SriLankan Airlines flight UL504.
This achievement underscores the country's ongoing recovery and growth in the tourism sector, as confirmed by Sri Lanka Tourism on Saturday.
