This is what we wanted @Chathuranga_CA . We don't want to question SJB or Ranil, bcz, we don't want to waste our valuable time. We support NPP, we beleive in NPP, that's y we wanted to get these things clarified, don't get discouraged when u are questioned deeper, it's actually a good sign when ppl are starting to have political literacy. We as a nation went to garbage due to lack of political literacy of our voters. Chathuranga, y didn't you include these facts & figures to ur policy statement? At least to ur Economic policy, simply what we wanted is, ok we love the proposals in ur economic plan, we wanted to knoe the cost of the plans & hw u ar gonna fund the proposals. Thank you soo much. Sl vlog question so hardly on NPP expenses but aren't seeing SJB promising 10 times higher subsidies and salaries. They turndown every economical reformation NPP trying to bring in. There are some facts I would like to clear as well. It has become a fact that negotiation on DSA can cancel out prevailing IMF tranches for that certain period. How are you going to manage that situation if its true. Better if can somehow answer their all accusations.

As I know in 2024 up to August customs has collected Rs.1000 billion income and their target for this year will be 1500 billion. This is without vehicle import tax. Normally it is 25-30% of customs income . If u can irradicate corruption easily they can go to 2.2-2.5 trillion. See what India has done in previous years. In 2024 they increased ther customs income/profits by 80% wrt to 2023.
