wonderfull video....as a frequent visitor to Sri Lanka since 1994 me and a lot of trustful German customers are deeply disapointed that they cancelled the Frankfurt / Colombo direct flights after more than 30 years. It has been the only nonstop flight and in 2014 and 2016 I was able to enjoy their full service in the Business class: fantastic food and service, 180° flatbeds, narrow but comfortable enough. In 9:30 hrs. you reached your destination. The arguments for stopping those flights (Paris as well) are so silly; the flights were always full or well booked and lots of older visitors will turn their shoulders towards Sri Lanka as they always had the motto: if Sri Lanka only with SriLankan !!! They bought / leased new A330-300 aircraft and tend to reduce themselves only as commuter service between the Arab countries and Sri Lanka. What a blame and shame for a national carrier !!!

The company on the whole were doing pretty badly financial wise as of recent times , I myself am unsure of the details but it is a real shame that they've been forced to reduce destinations.

There is good news finally , American Private Equity firm TPG has been shortlisted as the main investment partner . this means they will turn it around , it used to do pretty well when it was managed by Emirates, then gone down
