As a local from srinagar, kashmir i would suggest book a local kashmiri travel agent, they have the lowest rates ofcourse because they are the locals and also the problems you face in places like gulmarg can totally be avoided by local travel agents as they already prepare you and tell you all the details which the agents from other states don't know.

There is a Tamil film song which says : Kashmir beautiful Kashmir.Kashmir wonderful Kashmir. If God willing I want to visit explore again. It was an example : Kashmir Jannat nazeer : from the illiterate Iranian poet, he said in Persian that : AGER FIRDOUS BER ROEA ZAMEE AST HAME AST HAME AST HAME AST as such during the period that era, the whole world wasn’t known to any of us & afterwards when the whole world came to unveils, there had been thousands of paradises found better than your self made mythological heavens. Likewise one God & one Devil 👿 one Hell & one Heaven One virtue & one sin God or Bhagwan has no concerns with your myths & mythological thoughts. All you are doing & praying 🙏🏻 is just to deceived yourself & get souls satisfaction. Whereas I’m in my 78th. and gets soul satisfaction by a bit little feeding to birds 🦢 🦅 🐦 cats 🐱 🐈‍⬛ 🐈 dogs 🐩 🐕 🐶 & hungry ones, instead of going to Mandir, Masjid 🕌Churches ⛪️ and Synagogues etceteras.

I was posted in Kashmir Valley thus know her and her people. All genuine Kashmiris (Kashmiri Muslims and Kashmiri Pandits who are both the same people ethnically) are Central Asian Aryans though many now follow Semitic-Islam a fine religion. The Hindus only have the Brahman caste (Pandits-Buttas), while Muslims can be converts from Hindus of Brahmans and other castes. Also Kashmir has many ethnic groups who are of non-Kashmiris origin; example the boat people (Hanji). The Hanji are an intelligent and hospitable people were imported a long time ago thus are not truly of the Kashmiri stock though these boat people are also mostly Aryans. The Sikhs are also non-Kashmiris and recent arrivals from Jammu and the Punjab.
