Ive listened to Kris for years on the Fully Equipped podcast but never saw what he looked like lol. Had no clue you guys had a channel, I love the smaller channels that JUST test clubs and talk equipment. Golf equipment talk and testing is my youtube rabbit hole and its shocking I havent come across this channel.

Fast becoming my favorite channel on YT. Love Blake as the Iron Byron to test this new equipment. Can’t wait to see him hit the new woods!

I got my hands on these irons by accident at a golf store in South Carolina while on a golf vacation earlier this month. They are beautiful. The milling between the grooves on club face is really awesome. The only thing is, while they are small heel to toe, they are pretty chunky. I didn’t get to hit any shots with them, but they were beautiful clubs.

Have been a Srixon fan ever since True Spec fit me into a set of 785s around 4 years go. Skipped the ZX because I was still loving my 785s(still do) but upgrading this year to a combo set of MKIIs.

I hit the mkII zx4 & zx5 last weekend. The 4 was not for me (sole width) but the zx5 was my favorite iron I have ever hit!

4 and 5 are the same width, just 4 is tad longer from heal to toe.

I am not so sure about Blake's ability to judge club feel - he hits it so hard that EVERY club must feel soft as butter to him! Sheesh, what a monster!

Thanks for having a look at the Srixons. Wondering if you could compare the the ZX 7 MKii with the older irons, for example the Z785 model. Does that tungsten make the longer irons more forgiving?

Good review. One piece of constructive criticism...that address shot of the iron is way off angle, so we're getting no idea of offset, top line, playing position, etc

Nice channel chaps - I am thinking of trying these - I’m a 16-18 handicap , I don’t need distance …just a bit of help/forgiveness ,so what irons do you think I should be looking at. Cheers , Ben C

Just traded in my ZX7 irons for these MKii. Srixon is making the best players irons in the game right now

I want to get fit for a z forged / ZX7 / zx5 combo set. When are you coming back to Colorado?

Should be back at The Ridge at Castle Pines North sometime in May

So is it worth the upgrade from the previous model - currently playing the ZX7 but these look interesting

How would ZX7 or ZX5 compare to the T150 or Mizzuno 243?
@legend9018 Жыл бұрын
I think the ZX5 has a forged body and steel face whereas the ZX4 has a forged face but cast body. The ZX7 is a one piece forging. ZX4 could be a bit of an issue with launch, spin and land angle for slower swinging players 😬

You are correct

How May average golfers hit there six iron at 100 mph. Get real the 4 is a game improvers club 75 mph swing speed being the norm.
