On 12/13/2022, Quebec website provided a list of eligible universities and colleges that international students can attend and pay the same tuition as local students (avg. $3,000 CAD per year). Requirements are: (1) study in French; (2) at a designated learning institute located outside of greater Montreal area in Quebec; (3) study in information technology (IT), engineering, social & health services, or education (including early childhood education). International students can work up to 20 hours per week off-campus while studying; and fulltime during summer months when not studying.

Sahil do you even know how much time it might take to get CSQ under PEQ? It may take 3 years to get CSQ and after that, you need 18 months to apply under express entry. Do not mislead people!

One catch in AEC program is that many of these programs are designed to have less than *1800* *hours* of continuous study. This makes it more difficult to apply for PR without French. Lucky for me, I got a seat in New Brunswick Community College NBCC for the Sep21 intake in Moncton. I have intially applied for the Matrix college, Montreal for the Jan21 but, due to the delay in receiving the stupid CAQ document, I got deferred to May21. Then came the new of CAQ suspension so, I immediately decided to enroll back from Montreal as I was uncertain about the future ahead. Now I'm waiting for my fees refund.

I can answer this as a French Canadian. Canadians tend to be very easygoing and they will talk to strangers. They want to help and they can meddle with other people's lives sometimes. It can be a good match with some cultures, and a less optimal match with others. They are social people. However, they are also easygoing and will accept someone who wants to be left alone... Most of the times. You might feel a pressure at work to come and eat lunch with coworkers. They might feel like you are being rejected and sad if you eat alone in front of your computer. If you do it by choice, you might still have to make some adjustments and have more social interactions than you want. I would say the pressure to conform is weaker in Quebec than in the rest of North America, due to a slightly different culture. However, you might encounter different challenges in Quebec due to language barriers. If you are an introvert, Canada is a good place of stall due to the casual approach to relationships. Pressure to conform socially is not too strong. And social relations are not too codified.
