The Warriors look for such particular players to fit in their system that being able to draft and drop someone into their team and expect them to perform even if they were the 2nd pick was always gonna be harder than just trading the pick and targeting someone they know can fit. Another thing to note is that the other two guys who would have had the ball in their hands on these GSW teams in the Steph era have been ran out the organization by Draymond (KD then Poole)

Warriors need to Fire Steve Kerr first!! Replace Kerr with Stotts!! Get a True 7ft center!! 3 new tall, well-rounded players, consistent with defense and shooting!! Go all in for the next 3 year's, then plan for a rebuild. That's what I would do. Need players like Otto Porter and Nemanja Bjelica. We are Average with Kerr, he is done!!

Also keep in mind steph been injuired and forcibly playing through it just most of their main roatation pieces. They have no choice, without steph, jk, wiggs, dray. The team would literalky worse than the blazers at that point. It's hard to place Dennis when our team is so under size. Butler in his worse was better than any version of Bradley Beal. If warriors don't want to trade curry then they should build a championship team with him, butler is a perfect match. Maybe trade kuminga with a 3 and D shooting guard. If they want to compete for the championship this year and next year then they shouldn't worry for draft picks lol, they can always trade their players after 2 years for draft picks, even the Brooklyn nets got their picks after trading for the old Celtics pierce and kg , draft picks is the last of your worries if you're trying to win. 1st I'll ask this question. Will Curry be significantly worse next season? You're right. His contract is an anchor. If he and fans want the front office to help him , maybe he give them some help to. Not a CBA expert but maybe this goal should be a 2 year plan. From my reading a player can only have 4 yr contract if a player turns 38 during it. I don't believe they prohibited from renegotiating his contract this summer. I'd suggest Steph renegotiates his contract to add another season without increasing the current money owed ~ $120mil thus decreasing the seasonal amount to $40mil over 3 seasons rather $60mil over 2. Kerr has said he'd rather Green not play the 5 anymore. Go get Vucevic at the 5 this year. In the summer use the money from Curry's renegotiatation to extend JK to keep or in a sign and trade to get a bigger battle tested veteran to make a run. Example? If Phoenix decides to blow it maybe a deal JK & stuff for KD? That would decrease acclimation time. Or someone younger that can play both the 3 & 4 to take some load of both Green and Wiggins. Steph can play as many/few games he wishes in a farewell tour that last season ala Chris Paul, be a player coach? Seems a farer exchange than the current situation?

Cam Johnson is nice but he’s 6 and a half years older than Kuminga and already at his peak which is only so much better than current Kuminga…. Kuminga in a year or two will likely surpass Cam Johnson as a player so I don’t think that trade is worth it Cam isn’t putting Warriors over the top this year

It's the right thing to do for both sides. Curry will not anymore with the Warriors, he deserve to go to othef team if he want to win his 5th.
