The problem of casteism in Nepal, UP, Bihar was a shock for me. As an Indian in nepaI, i was surprised to see people questioning my caste so frequently. I had similar experience in UP, Haryana in India. Casteism is the worst form of discrimination in the sub continent region and will destroy the backbone of this culture. Hatred towards someone else in the name of caste, religion, race, color seems so illogical yet so many practice it that it makes me question human intelligence. I guess a society free of such discrimination is just a Utopian dream and our faith in an external entity to solve these issues is futile.
