Sub-Dissociative IV Ketamine vs Nebulized Ketamine for Acute Pain

Hey, Sal. Nice post. It's one of those non-inferiority trials which always feels like a wasted trial; it doesn't move the needle in either direction. I suppose there is still benefit of a trial like this in that it let's the clinician decide based on the specifics of the patient. Thx.

It's actually a superiority trial...but agree doesn't really move the needle either way...plus I have to say...IN seems easier than K-BAN IMHO.

They used iv formulation to nebulize as off licence?

Then NEB preparation is it 0.75mg/kg mix with 5 ml or 100 of normal saline??? Or pure ketamine😅

The neb is 0.75mg/kg mixed with 5mL...the 100mL is for the IV formulation
