Could you compare them with the first generation rp600m?

This time I'm pretty sure the recording is okay. Superficially these RP600M IIs sound very clear but the treble is over-emphasized. DBR62>BRO3s>Rp600M IIs and with this amp I think the DBR62s are better than the Dentons. The DBR62s sound quite similar to the Dentons with this amp but I have the DBR62s just ahead. Quite close with the Dentons on the Sony STRDH190 or the Denon DRA 800H but still think the DBR62s just have it. The DBR62s are a significantly larger speaker though and around 200 bucks more. The DBR62s can't quite match the Revel Concerta2 M16 Ewhich just have a bit more clarity and neutrality. Obviously our great host, E, feels this amp brings a lot to the table, with most speakers. I suppose it has a pretty good pass rate but it does have a few fails.

My comment got erased, where I said that this video doesn't have the phase issues that some lately had, and it sounds just fine. But, the Klipsches are still too bright for me at times, but not as much as with the first amp we heard them with.

Hi, Please add klipsch rp500m mark II to the test as it seems these have better driver integration and sound more polite and smooth..is it chance?

At the cost of these Klipsches, there are far better speakers from Polk, Focal, KEF, Elac, Revel, Wharfedale, and Dali, to name but a few.

I've heard both and did not care for the new version. I preferred the sound signature of the 1st version. The second version seemed too far forward sounding for my ears. Almost muddy.

Not a bad speaker with this amp but it doesn't grab any emotion from me. I definitely think there were other speakers in this price range that sounded better with this amplifier

That's clearly a subjective judgement, debatable, and I think most would disagree. And, you can't compare that video to this one, because it isn't a valid comparison. All the older videos like that one were made before E changed his room that he records in, and all those older videos are much brighter sounding than those made with the new setup. Apples and oranges!

If you were a long time follower of this channel, then you'd know that this is a discussion we've had at length, and he's told us that he has changed it enough to change the sound considerably. Just because he has the same cover on the table and the same backdrop, he could put those anywhere in any room, and it could even be a different table. Looks can be deceiving.
