Srt pages and drive modes with alpha obd and adding apple Car play to 2015 charger

If you’re interested in doing performance pages and drive modes for your charger challenger or Chrysler this is the video for you. It’s as easy as I can explain it. It’s a straightforward video explaining everything that you need to get it done
There is one left out of the transmission drive mode configuration It’s the very last setting in the video. I just forgot to click it, but that one you also want to enable to yes
For Apple car play as mentioned i got a bcm from a 2017 charger i read my old bcm and flashed the 2017 one with my settings from my 2015 bcm and everything worked perfectly fine , you can do all of this through the app just make sure you have the means to save your profile . because also as mentioned if you enable settings that are not supported in this car you can potentially have your car not start, and the way to fix it is to have the dealer re flash your car with your vin specific bcm program
One other thing I forgot to mention in the video is that this alpha OBD app only works with windows and android devices

@@andybarton5837 after you reset the car it can take a few hours , sometimes a day or two , i recommend pulling the radio fuse from the trunk of the car for a few mins and put it back and let it restart

It should automatically recognize it. The USB port should have two usb ports by the way.

I have a 2015 charger rt, replaced my radio and usb hub to a 2017+ model. Everything works except for apple carplay and sport mode. The radio is still reading the old usb hub so i need to change that out. But i need a video of someone changing out the BCM and reprogramming it. I can change it out but actually programming it is the scary part for me.

@@hotwireme line lock is only available for 2018 and up cars as far as a factory option goes , im in the process of finding out if i swap my body control module to a 2018 will it work then but i have yet to find the time to do that

@@CrazyBigLuu yeah I know but I have had my 2015 rt for about 5-6 years and when 3G service got shut down it took away so many uconnect functions and people have been talking on forums for years trying to figure out how to get the radio installed with all factory functions working because you put in a 2017+ uconnect in and you lost heated and vented seats but so many people did it just to have android auto and apple carplay im sure you know all this but this is the best video on the internet and also the best explanation i have found and side question are you able to register it with uconnect and use the wifi features

@@ShinigamiRT I went ahead and took your advice and I added it into the title just cause it can’t hurt anything so people can come watch and then I mention Apple CarPlay and just wrote a better explanation in the description and to be honest about the next stuff I haven’t actually even bothered or tried to sign up. I do know that it gives me the option to sign up for Wi-Fi, but I haven’t actually looked into signing up for any services it still does have sirius xm if I choose to sign up for it.

@@jeorje69 you need a completely different radio it’s not whether or not just enabling it. You need a 2018 newer radio. Those are the only radios that have Apple CarPlay or android auto any radio that has Apple CarPlay will have android auto

@ once you plug everything in you have to plug your phone into the USB port and Apple CarPlay should just pop right up
