Not sure why this video doesn't have more views tbh. Nothing beats a real-time tutorial that shows realistic expectations, not bullshit. Only question I have is, does the mx+ need to stay plugged into the obd port after the pages are available?

@anteZER0 hey this video is starting to build some steam after it was dormant for a while so it has some hope haha. No the mx can be unplugged directly after activating the pages, and the pages will stay. I keep mine plugged in but that's cause I'm always fiddling with things.

Follow up from yesterday. Got my mx+ today and did the perf pages/drive mode! Saying it went smooth is an understatement, thanks again to your vid! I had a couple questions regarding backup cameras and rear bumper sensors. I did a bumper and trunk lid swap and was wondering if you knew what configs needed to be enabled to get both working on my 16 charger rt. Both the trunk and bumper are factory and had the harness/connectors for plug n play.

In alpha obd go into the body computer, car configuration change, vehconfig 1 rear view camera and select yes then same menu ecu config 3 rear camera present and select yes. Those might already be selected tho and could be just a plug and play without having to change anything I don't know about the rear sensors tho.

@freddysanchez5019 yes with the alpha obd app it will give you access to all the factory addon features if your vehicle is equipped with them. In another comment I mentioned the 2 that might need to be changed that reference back up camera. Just make sure to take note of all things that you change for just in case something doesn't take rite and you have to revert back. You don't want to be just changing things willy nilly.

Absolutely i updated the description to have links to everything you will need. i would suggest using the mx+ it make it easy some say that the clear blue ones do work but some also say it doesn't so if you try that you might be throwing your money away. You will need the double bypass and there is a link to that in the description. you will need the alpha obd app its on android but if you don't have an android you can use a windows pc instead. The app does cost money but you will find it useful for more than just the performance pages. I've used it so far for the DRL drop so the car doesn't do that one eye thing when turning, changing the headlights out to LED and making them not flicker, and a lot of other things as well that's just to name accouple.

sadly no you will have to upgrade to the 8.4 from my understanding it does not have the hardware capability. if you have the center display that is the style like mine though you will get the gauge cluster displays.

@justtrue8228 Only other way to activate the sport mode that I know of other than on the 8.4 display is if you have the dedicated button on your climate control panel. If you don't have that, you could install that it should have all the plug-ins for it behind the dash. Then use alpha obd and go to body computer, car configuration change, and vehconfig 3 sport mode present and select yes. The sport mode is only changing shift speeds and keeps the active exhaust disabled if you have it. When you're in manual mode, it is a completely different category within your tcm that has its own carictoristics.

@@alaskagarage I’m having the issue of losing my options. Unplugged my battery to get rid of a check engine light but when I plugged it back in I got the blue themed uconnect instead of the red theme like I had

@PluggedinnSince when your doing that it is resetting your head unit you could also pull the radio fuse that will do the same thing. Some people have the issue of them dropping with this way and the tazer. Haven't had mine drop but whith what I've read is it will drop acouple times then stick.
