ive tried several times to get this plugin to work on my server and it doesnt, NPC's dont see me, but players do, when I use the command to turn on vanish mode it works ( but I can still be seen by players ) but when I attempt to turn it off it just keeps saying its activated permanent vanish mode ( in other words it wont turn off ) I have all the correct permissions, and nothing I do get the plugin to work as it should

Just having ‘ownerid’ doesn’t mean you have all required permissions needed. Sometimes you have to manually grant a permission using the o.grant command

When I’m doing binds, I do: bind p chat.say “/vanish With no close quotes at the end. Not sure if it matters or not. That’s just how I’ve always done it.

Hey. I’m glad you’re finding them useful. There are several ways you can award players for being on your server over time. MoneyTime is good easy solution. PlaytimeTracker has more options.

i very much agree with the first 5 plugins but personally dislike the later 5 which is why we only run the first 5. thanks for your insights dou. can rustcorde recognize and post server-freezes for example if my scripts notice a freeze can they send it to rustcord which is sending it to discord? or would that be too much for the mod?

@@srtbull its not a crash. the server is still running and i can connect with rustadmin, but it does not accept any commands anymore, and it requires a forced restart. it probably has to do with some fiddling with the server-settings without wiping afterwards. my scripts detect the rcon not responding and restart the server automatically, but i also want to forward a msg to discord, that its currently restarting. havent figured out a way for that.

@@srtbull Timed Permissions only seems to be able to grant permissions to players/steam IDs, you can't grant permissions to groups. Basically I'm looking to give 2 permissions to default for 2 days, or add default players to a "builder" group for 2 days.

@@srtbull first two days of each wipe (monthly). During those 2 days I have no raid so it’s really for people to focus on building, so remove tool let’s them fix and mistakes, but when raiding begins I don’t want them having access to it because of hiding loot, bases with no doors etc

Great video... Only not sure if NoGiveNotices is a must-have. It's like a double side knife... For sure helps when you configure plugins like Kit/Shop/etc, instead of digging into data/config file through lines of code you simply spawn the items in your inventory then execute 1 "/command" to save everything and it's done. Just a lot of servers use this plugin for abuse sadly. If you know there are no NoGiveNotices installed on your server you will think before you use the F1 and why you click the spawn button because players might see the chat. That's why FP added these messages for a reason. And about loading messages it's not plugin/developer fault but after the new loading screen update long text is cut and sometimes your info does not fits fine because of the disconnect button. About the myth that some of my players said about how you can't load into the server when Loading Messages are installed, I never had issues, maybe because they have low-end computers and can't see all the time the actual loading progress they think loading is stuck.

Copy/Paste should be allowed but like you said really isn't needed. Loading Messages is explicitly not allowed on community servers per facepunch. We really need a replacement/upgraded Timed Execute plugin. Something that has days of the week/month etc. I wish there were a version that worked more like the linux cron utility.

If you are truly serious about how FacePunch will deal with those issues like that, I think I would not mind working in their Dev Team. lololol I still need to find a teacher for Coding because after a year, I still can't teach myself this stuff, but if anybody knows me, they know I retain more, the more questions and inputs I can bounce off you while learning, to maximize my Knowledge Intake. They also know what True Potential is and I see the Potential in everything and the actual potential of that kind of easygoing warning is astronomical. Never have I ever heard of a P2W Company caring that much about their peeps that they are actually active and knowledgeable about their game, in real time I Love It! They don't just glance and piss in your hand, these ones give you Medicine. X'D After I learn all of this Server stuff, I might be able to take another crack at rebuilding, revamping, and enumerating my Mario-knockoffs' outcomes by making it more diverse and two to five times bigger maps to make it so the player never gets bored! Just like with Rust, I currently have over 110 and counting Mods and I still have yet to figure out how to edit some of them properly and where the values I can actually Edit are.... But the Potential of a game that allows all of this crazy chit and is even helpful in your craziness, it scares me a little, but I love it because that's exactly the kind of person I am. I'd rather help the player than ignore them especially since it'd be natural they may be able to help someone else later on because they felt good about getting helped and end up doing it naturally now (mwahaha). Especially since everyone technically has potentially infinite potential until you actually see what they can do, that's why we do it. Now, to find a Discord Bot Dev for my Server's Discord! X'D
