Powergrid would be my in-game wishlist. I mean, they could make one of the power plant reactors active to 'justify' the power generation and maybe add a tier 3 craftable transformer for the light poles to not have to use root combiners.

So many options too. Could add easy convoys from Bandit camp to a monument and back with just 1 car as well as the hyped up military convoys. Even in the underground tunnels too.

I've always wanted more events like the convoy. Any PVE that is comprised by some NPC roaming the map. I've thought it would be amazing to have something like cryptids - a Sasquatch event where he roams and decimates geared players, partially damages buildings. Or like a werewolf that has insane base movespeed, attack speed, and health that roams the map on a hunt. A Wendigo or a skin walker that looks like a player at first but then terrorizes players... anything PVE that really brings back the fear and trepidation of the environment. This would be great content!!!

100% agree, i've always wished for more PvE content in Rust. I loved when they had the random murderers roaming around for Halloween event. Just more stuff to shoot. And more shooting also brings more players, and more action. But then even on a dead server you could still have fun killing more NPCs.

@@Slyons89 Yes! PvE is such a big driver for the game. It's sort of just becoming a kill-on-sight game of Call of Duty. If there was more threat in the environment incentivizing people working together or not killing because "it could attract a cryptid" or has a chance of spawning some chaotic event... that'd be interesting.

Here at Noisy Neighbors 5x we have been running 4/5* of these plugins now for some time now and the players absolutely love them! We found that the vanilla bases included with the Raidable Bases plugin just wasn't cutting it on a 5x so we have also designed our own custom bases for every tier that all include a recycler in them too! These mods have been absolutely great!!! *EDIT - We now have 5/5 Mods live on the server for all to try! Plus more like Parachutes / Rideable Bears / Flying Mega Drones and more!

We've got jetpacks on a test server of mine, and they're slowed down quite a bit without some of the side rotations and they are much more reasonable. 100% recommend testing them out with lower thrust values. Minis are more fuel efficient and fly faster, and our SAM sites agro on jetpacks from much further too

convoy would be an amazing add to vanilla, more events that create pvp and counter action are absolutely welcome. i do worry if people would be able to build too close to the road and just farm convoys from some roofcamp tower and get crazy stacked too quickly, but im sure if the convoy was added the appropriate building restrictions would be added as well

I play on a server that has the radiable bases mod. It's fun and they have a PVP area around them so you can counter like regular rust but no raiding players till PURGE day (Every 2 weeks). Good stuff!

@@Noriginal01 Zombielands servers (1, 2, & Lite) have them as well, plus NPC's at monuments and random zombie hordes (who are brutal btw) wandering the wilds. PVE only servers except in specific circumstances so that might put some off but I love playing on the Lite server.

Being able to tap into the map's power grid would be amazing as a vanilla feature and it can be balanced by making it so that scientists can spawn near where you've tapped into the grid "checking out the power loss" basically.

The first Plugin is pretty interessting. I would love a addition where the power comes from a power station where i can decide which houses get power in the end :'D to make people pay for the power in the end. For roleplay servers that would be great but even without its a great addition!

The convoy sounds the most fun. Rust really needs more random events like this, but coming from the teams electrician, windmills are just such a pain to set up, and are not friendly to small bases. Solar panels require so many set up to generate enough power. I usually just run generator chains and burn through lowgrade like an animal. Having an alternative that is subtle would be nice.

Love the mod showcase, and hope to see more. If I had 1 to add to vanilla, it would Raidable Bases, but all are good. To throw a couple other mods at you that we use on our server...Pilot Eject, Advance Gather, and draggable corpses, but there are so many more. Thanks for all the videos!

Convoys. Adding convoys would be an awesome alternate to Bradley, Heli, Cargo etc. Same idea except roams on land like cargo does on water!

I would love the power grid but i would ask that the fuse last indefinitely until you overload your power limit. Power from the pole should be limited to 1000rW, and if you happen to exceed that, you blow the fuse and have to replace it. Fuses in real life generally don’t just go bad over time. I think you should have to limit your power with the given devices (electrical branch circuits) from the pole to your storage of choice.

This honestly sounds like a thing only zergs would be able to do. How are you supposed to take down all of that as a solo and then make it out alive with the counters? Its a good concept but seems like it wouldn't be all that balanced.

@@cagxplays9602 Yeah I feel that. Honestly it'd be a good grub spot for a solo. Say a 5 man zerg starts it. A solo could maybe ambush one and make a get away with some loot. But I do think it could be tweeked. Taking out Bradley and Heli and replace them with one armored car with say like 3 Heavy Scientists that have a chance to have an AK on them. It would be more solo friendly.

If i had to choose JUST 1 to be added, it would have to be the grid. I feel it was be the smoothest implementation. I'd love the floating water base too but they'd have to probably put more thought into that.

The most natural addition is definitely the power grid, I think it would help solos out for sure. The convoy would just be straight up fun though. Water bases would be a tough thing to balance

the power grid idea is one of the ideas i have been on about to rust for so long and along with the community, like the power plant could be on like re make the powerplant to work and all, and so with that if the power plant goes down like the power grid goes down, and this is because the power plant has been run down i just think i would be a good idea

Good list, I run a PVE server with Convoy and can confirm it's awesome. I'd also add the Boss Monsters plugin to the list - really challenging NPCs with special abilities like spawning animals or fire.

I’ve been making “moonpools” with the limits of rusts buildings, but that water bases mod would be SO HELPFUL. That would 100% get me back into rust. I love the ocean and exploring it and I love when games expand on it, all I need now is a moon pool for my base for my sub.

we've used raidable bases for a hot min and it's well worth it! The free is great but the premium was 100% worth it! they give you everything and already preset bases I think 5-10 per difficulty Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert and Nightmare.

The server I play on uses the Raidable NPC plug-in. It's basically a builder's server, but it gives another bit of things to do on the server too.

I have an idea for a new in-game event where the launch site would open the missile silos and launch rockets carrying a new type of crate as a payload. Each one would land on a random spot on the map, creating some nice PVP zones around each one for top-tier loot or tools. Or perhaps an event (similar to the rocket one) where a rocket would land on a random monument either destroying it or inducing a massive amount of radiation similar to the top of launch site red room.

I play on Isle of Misfit PVE and they've had all these for a couple of months. Pretty good server. Convoy is a player favorite.

No way! I also play on Isle of Misfit PVE. I'll keep an eye out for you on there. I like that it is one of the few servers that stays up to date on all these latest mods. Agreed that they are a top notch server and always has a great admin on there to take care of any issues. Heck they even have a better skinner plugin than most and its super quick.

Rust vanilla maps, well at least some of them, used to have working street lights. I feel like lots of people forgot about them, and they were removed from the game. Back when you could build on the road, and electricity was a lot more annoying to work with. Building under a working street light, gave you free base lighting. They were really OP, and could keep a mini compound well lit at night.

Convoy is great, we run it on Salty Naked PvE 3x. 2 Brad's, 1 heli, 2 cars, and the transport car with the locked crate. Lotta fun as a solo or a duo as there's 40 NPCs with this setup that push you like crazy a lot of times. Can recommend. NPC raids/raidable bases also great but I feel like that one is well known already.
