@@westpsmity yeah & no. Stevie Ray fucking Vaughan isn't a random dude in a guitar store playing a sub-par rendition of Texas Flood. Stevie Ray Vaughan was a visionary who absolutely elevated everything he touched, including Voodoo Chile & Little Wing. I don't care at all if you disagree, SRV was the better guitarist in every way. Jimi was disgustingly good, especially live, but SRV can not be touched by anyone else, alive or dead.

Cause there's a bunch of ignorant dipsh!ts out there seeking their 15 minutes of fame no matter how they can get it. Even if you're an imposter claiming to be the son of an iconic legend like Stevie Ray Vaughan. WTF-OVER! IDK who it is but if it was Marcus King I'd say with certainty this video would of been taken down already or at the least the title changed. Marcus has to much respect for SRV & in himself to pull some BS like this no bout a doubt it! ++Peace & Rock n' Roll 4 Your Souls++

I was shopping at Walmart and there was a tee shirt in the bargain section with a 3 piece band on it that looked exactly like SRV’s band with the likeness of him up front, with exact likeness of the clothing & hat he wore, and guitar he played. Except they were all skeletons. I played for years, doing countless gigs, in bars, casinos, parties, festivals, ect. And when I saw that shirt, the Lord said to me, That was you! Dead in trespasses and sins! Seeking after vain glory, dead while you lived, all for vanity! I purchased that shirt, cut out the picture and put in on my studio’s wall! To remind me of all the years I spent seeking vain glory, and the praise of the audience, when actually I was dead while I lived in it! I was living gig to gig, seeking the next high, but never being fulfilled! Always had to find a new way to fill my empty soul! But then I found the only thing that could fill it! Jesus Christ! And now I consider all of that life equal to the crap I left in the toilet! Sex, drugs, and rock & roll, are all lies, that promises fame, and fortune, or at least admiration. But deliver nothing but regret, and addiction, and a short lived worthless high! Turn to Jesus, and serve Gods Kingdom and true fulfillment, and true joy will be eternal!

I Feel for you, dude. Turn to the guy that is also technically his Dad? His dad kills him (technically, himself) to save us from... him Do you see why they tell you that you aren't allowed to question god? Plus you have to pay the guy telling you this? That is the definition of extortion sold as salvation. Look up both works Isn't suicide a Mortal Sin? So, who automatically went to Hell? Jesus? God? Both? Neither because they don't exist. You don't need faith in things that are real, yo. Rock and roll helps people every day. Religion never doesn't harm society. Look back in history, it has always been religious folks killing tons of people. Rock and roll groups don't have fan bases like that

I don’t understand why anyone would spend so much time, money, and energy on being someone they’re not. You know what is WAY more impressive to me? A beginner guitarist who is attempting to write their own material rather than copying someone else their whole life. Congratulations dude, you just achieved something that was already done better 40 years ago. He could tell us how it feels to be playing 1983’s hottest licks! And to further prove how pathetic it really is, he’s most likely playing a COVER of a SRV song that was COVERING Hendrix or Albert King who was covering Muddy Waters who was covering Robert Johnson who was covering…it goes on and on. Just think, if he were born 140 years ago he would’ve been right on the cutting edge.

Was lucky enough to grow up in Austin and enjoy the incredible music scene. Before SXSW and all the big venues. Hanging out with Cliff at Antones, catching after shows at the Cadillac Club or the best venue, the Dillo. Seeing Buddy Guy ir Johnny Winters at places like The Vulcan Gas Company. Catching gigs at Auditorium Shores. I was so blessed. My hometown is no longer weird.
