love this. you’ve somehow managed a note for note breakdown without it feeling tedious or pretentious. also, BEAUTIFUL playing there at the end.

This is gold. Never seen someone tackle lick 4 like you have over several videos, with tablature to boot. Thank you very much, this is critical guitar work right here!

Man, this is killer! Beautiful playing as always. I love this kind of deep dive and all the information you provide! My influences are SRV, Clapton, and Slash (i realize Slash may not fit in the list), but I like the way he mixed major and minor, very bluesy but with a bit more rock flare (more legato and such). At any rate, this is a quality lesson man! Thanks!

I recently bought a Vidami KZbin looper pedal. I think you will find it really useful to make these videos. Your hands can stay on the guitar while you pause/loop/slow down the video with your foot.

Do you have your plexi attenuated? Feel like it affects the tone or is that a myth?
@mikebrookfield3 жыл бұрын
I lower the volume via the effects loop.. I don’t currently have an attenuator.. wouldn’t worry about loss in tone too much if u get a quality attenuator..

I love what you do but PLEASE! Don’t use that guitar!!!! There’s no dots, I have no reference or I get lost. Especially up at the 12 fret and beyond.
