Fun fact: Engaging Scirocco as Camille during the Zeta finale will force him to power up and attack with the Wave Rider Crash instead of whatever he was supposed to attack with. If Four isn't deployed, Scirocco will fry Camille's brain and knock him out of action permanently. The first Alpha really did have some weird things going on.

I'm sure same mechanic with Scirocco and Kamile was used in SRW3. Probably 4th-F/Final, too.

F Final is actually weird in that regard. In that one, Four has to die, and then if Kamille gets the kill on Scirocco, her spirit will protect him from being brain-fried. Four's my waifu so I obviously couldn't let her die, so instead I just let her get the kill on Scirocco instead of Kamille. Also, all of that only happens on the Guest-Poseidal route. I'm pretty certain Kamille is safe on the DC route (I'm not 100% certain since I haven't played that route and information on classic SRW is sparse), even though Scirocco is the final boss of the DC route.

You are correct. It is not recommended to trigger this event on Guest-Poseidal route of SRWF Final since you will lose Kamille permanently (He is an excellent MS pilot with NT ability albeit no accel. seishin.)

If you still get the true ending in SRW Alpha, Kamille will recover after the final battle, and say it's thanks to the voices of Judau, Amuro, Fa, and Four calling out to him; tying up that loose end for the sequels. Regardless of whether you shoot Four down or convince her, she survives the events of the game. However, if you don't convince her, she simply doesn't play a part in the rest of the game and is apparently recovered by Karaba after Quattro's speech to the Federation parliament.

This also plays in Alpha Gaiden for the demos of the "upgraded" Z Gundam after the event in which Kamille shoots and kills Rosamia in the X-point battle.

That is with the exception of the Waverider attack (The music that plays in this instance is "Sailing Through Space ~ Zeta, Activate."
