A bit late on this clip....This is a great historic documentary and so informative. I live in capetown. In the early 2000's I would often Park across the road at the grave yard and then snorkel on this wreck. The swim to the wreck is further then you think....it gets deeper as you go along. I once took a hand line and fished under the water on the turret ..super fun small fish! Lets not forget this is False Bay Capetown...Great white city!When the sharks got to prolific this was no longer a safe snorkel. At the moment the orca are keeping the sharks away. Thanks for the video it brought up a lot of great feelings sir.

I was standing on the beach years ago when divers came out of the water with the piece. we talked. later I was sitting in a cafe. a car stopped, it was the divers. they asked me if i wanted that piece. I let it dry for weeks and now it's in Germany.
