Yeah it's probably way cheaper than a brand new mustang, it's a brand new car what do you expect? Civics aren't exactly hard (money wise) to make fast considering they weigh nothing and assuming the owner and/or builder knows what they are doing. EX: Look up the civette, LSx powered civic that shits on muscle cars with the same class of motor, runs just fine. I'd personally rather build something else because well I have personal preferences and I don't really care for civics or any sport compact type car. Not denying that I have seen very well done EG/EK hatchbacks but all that is besides the point. There are plenty of budget builds out there for most cars made before 2000, hell some even after the new millenium. I'm not just talking about japanese cars, that includes muscle cars and european cars. Speaking of mustangs, most of the fastest ones you'll see at the track or meets are the 80's/early 90's foxbodies and you can get those for just about as cheap if not cheaper than a civic, again not trying to say one is better than the other. I praise those foxbody mustangs as a camaro guy, why you ask? Because I appreciate all cars, including well built imports. I'm a car guy, it's what car guys do. It's not about having the fastest, or the loudest, or whatever the hell it is people get into pissing contests over at car meets/street races. It should be about sharing the same passion for cars that others share. But that's a rare quality these days, this video proves that. Racing for money, even though deep down it's just two douchebags trying to have a pride piss off.
