For additional context, the captain and HoS kept making calls about arresting the "protestors" while snydis were growing unlimited guns and getting away with sabotage. This led to a lot of sec arresting people for basically no reason, and the prisoners had zero idea why they were detained. All of this got frustrating

I was the HoS, and I’m gonna be honest, I was just kinda blindly following the captain’s orders. I probably would’ve paid more attention to the other things going on if the captain wasn’t so worried about the people knocking on the bridge window. It was also just kinda funnier to hyper focus the harmless “rioters”.

I was the HoS, I was following captain’s orders, which were exclusively to detain the “rioters”. It was actually orchestrated by syndies. When I was murdered by cargo (they were basically all syndicates) I listened to the syndicate radio and yeah, they were talking about how “the plan was going pretty well”. So yeah, basically it was all planned and me and captain played right into their hand.

Fitting for the game, being trapped in one perspective really limits what you see. From my perspective I felt alone, so I roleplayed it as far as I wanted to go.

this entire round i was upgrading machines as science and when i went into sec to upgrade their machines I was nearly beat to death by a sec with a shovel and then drafted by captain to fight the "rioters"

I was the mime that round, and you were 100% right that i had emag and storage implant. That round was complete chaos and i believe that at least 3 people saw me emag right in front of them and did nothing.

Ah I had fun in my own way, I just like playing sec very by the book, and being someone the crew can confide in. Hard to do that when security is actively trying to antagonize innocent crew while syndicates are killing people.

Only time i quit a job was when QM and the rest of cargo kept chanting cargonia and ordering firearms. I walked out with a syndicate moments before an admin nuked cargo. Syndicate willingly turned himself in and asked to go in perma. I demoted myself to passenger.

I really love/hate these type of rounds where everyone is a shitter and the heads are insane, it is either the best experience ever or the worst one possible. It reminded me of one time in particular where I was trying my best as a SecOff, People were messing at the front of sec the whole round and the heads didn't bother to do anything or went ssd. And by the end of it when I tried to resign HoP was bombed, shuttle arrived, people started spacing shit... I was completely done with it and stopped playing sec for a while lol

Lmao I got executed by that HOS for basically no reason the other day and the Warden and a medical staff revived me and had to smuggle me into perma and the shuttle without him noticing, that guy is a psycho.

Oh man seeing this shift I kind of feel ya. I once quit my job as a secoff because of incompetent staff and head staff. I guess people need more time to learn how to do jobs correctly. The video was still entertaining as always tho!

I think the problem is they can do their job but there's no real punishment for "tomfoolery" so people take shifts as head and just cause massive problems. Seen certain people who no matter what they play they end up doing clown-type pranks outside of being an actual clown.

this is actually bonkers. i think it would be nice to have a zoomed out view of what's happening in chat and in the ui so that we have context for what's going on more. then zoom in for dramatic dialogue. just my opinion, though

@@Liltenhead everyone's gonna have input on that, just do what you feel like doing. i imagine it would be less editing for you if you did it zoomed out, but it's also slightly clearer what's going on around your character zoomed in. pros and cons and they're both valid, imo.
