This is the absolute BEST explanation of SSAS cubes that I've ever seen and I've looked at many and read much literature. Udayan Gupta (comment below) may believe that some of the information was redundant (and perhaps it was) but for those of us who want complete understanding of the topic (start-to-finish), this presentation could not have been better. +udayan gupta : You are absolutely correct. If I had to type a comment, then it'd have been similar. I donno why, particularly for SSAS training materials, I always find, people in there entire 1 hr presentation just build a basic cube and don't touch Roles, Aggregation, perspectives, KPIs. Lot can be discussed in an hour just if (what you said) explanations are short and crisp.
