What does your business charge for being a practitioner? Is there a list of fees somewhere?
@segmentedsolutions27 күн бұрын
There is a full Fee Schedule on the web page wwwsegmentedsolutions.co.uk/ssas

Thank you so much for this video. So in order to open an SSAS you have to have a limited company setup is this correct? does this mean that I would have to start doing self-assessments?
@segmentedsolutions3 ай бұрын
Self-Assessment is a personal tax reporting thing.... a Limited Company does not do self-assessment.... it does accounting! But - yes.... a SSAS requires a Limited Company to be in place.

Does anyone know if much changed since this series was made? (UK business)
@segmentedsolutions3 ай бұрын
No changes other than the Lifetime Limit - although the October 2024 budget may change a few things... and we'll have an annuity to sort that out (no IHT etc).

Great help, thank you , and will read many times to cement into my plan. Question: can I open a SSAS alone.with the plan to bring in my wife soon and maybe our children later for IHT mitigation.? Regards. Steve.

Thank. This is helpful. Have you on your website schedule of fees? Is it possible to set up SSAS with a Ltd with one director to start then invite other members of family (as shareholders) to join as directors/secretary?

Surprised you have not received a response yet for I have had several direct exchanges with this company and it has always replied within hours, and often by return.

Very informative, thank you. If my Ltd company deals with just BTLs(Investment company) can it sponsor a SSAS and utilise the 50% loan back facility to purchase more BTLs? Thank you
@segmentedsolutions3 жыл бұрын
Yes you can... it involves setting things up correctly, but a quick answer is... yes it can be structured.

Do you have to have an LLP to have a SSAS ... and does your business have to be in profit or minimum turn over before you can have one. I was told that my LLP had to be paying me 40k a year before I can pay into a SSAS
@segmentedsolutions2 жыл бұрын
An LLP or a LTD Co can act as 'Sponsoring Employer' for a SSAS - and as long as the business is LIVE and TRADING, then it is allowed. The issue of COSTS is one for the business and the owners to cover off. The making of contributions is another matter - as that is determined by both the pensions history and the business itself in terms of affordability and contribution allowances. Happy to chat as needed.

That should surely be 'Principal Employer', not "Principle Employer" (sic).
