Perfect is a strong word, amazing? Completely. But perfect? No. The main thing that stands out to me is the throw with the left are doesn’t feel like there’s enough power behind it and it takes place in around 3 frames

Christian Tapia because they have to animate an entire season’s worth of 24 minute episodes on a tight schedule, while this man has to animate only about 7 seconds. Not putting him down or anything, but he himself has a lot more time to work on this project, which is why it looks better.

It's because Japan animation companies wanted to produce more animes so it can be mainstream and to satisfy the fans that wanted seasons and episodes - and it leads to rush and tight schedule.

Just a few mentions: -For the second and third blast the proportions are slightly off. The arms are a bit stiff around the joint where the tricep and shoulder connect. Maybe curve the forearm a little too. When you throw a ball forwards your elbow is usually out, otherwise you would dislocate your arm. Fundamentals. -The first blast was ACTUALLY INSANE. Great job! -Good use of smear frames. -Idk the conext behind this shot, but if there is a lot of wind, depending on the direction of it, small details (clothes, hair, etc.) should have more fluidity. Good job overall. Cant wait to see more improvements over time

A little bit of harmless artistic criticism: -I feel like the way the arms move are a bit stiff and should be given a bit a little more movement. -The eyes I feel would still be without pupils since it's still Super Saiyan just mixed with God ki but that's probably just a stylelistic choice. -The ki blasts should be given more of a glow to them to represent energy Other than that, it looks great! The line work, pallette choice, and hair animation are phenomenal. I look forward to the final product!

@@gunnr2654 Again, budget doesn't affect ANIMATION. DragonBall Super for example, hired a lot of key animators, 2nd key animators and lots of animation supervisors on its early episodes, and what came out is stiff, puppet-like motion without anticipation to the actions. That cost them a LOT of money, but it didn't do a great job. The problem was SCHEDULE, not the budget itself. Animation were getting rushed because of this because they would need to produce more in such a short time in order to satisfy the fans. It's also most common in TV series since they air weekly.
