The Garud Commando Force is the special forces unit of the Indian Air Force. It was formed in September 2004 and has a current strength of over 1500 personnel. The unit derives its name from Garuda, a divine bird-like creature in Hinduism. Join Navy as a ground duty commissioned officer. Then opt for Marcos, you give will the hardest physical training that exists on planet earth which includes bud/s in it, which most people considers as hardest training. Marcos are basically the Elites of Elite.

There onwards if option of volunteering for garud is available, one can surely opt for it. Technical staff and fighter pilots tw don't generally volunteer for garud. So I guess it is possible. Do proper research. And if you are sooo keen to join airforce and become a garud you must go and talk to an officer ot jawan from air force. They'll give you exact information and apt advice as well!! Best of luck👍
