SSBP Review

My mission continues to find “my” top ten South Shore Bar Style pizza places! This is hard work, but someone has to do it! Follow along as I try as many of these places that I can. This is the 109th.. place that I have tried! The journey is long and the road is hard. I will persevere 😂
I live in Abington which seems to be the Mecca for South Shore Bar Style pizza places, I have so many places to choose from within a 15 mile radius, all minutes from my house!
I order the same pizza (Mushrooms on 1/2 and Bacon on The Whole thing) each time, I do not ask for any modifications, I don’t ask for Laced or burnt edges, I don’t ask for extra cheese or sauce, I order it the way the establishment wants to make it.
If you see me at any of these places, please say hi and if you are subscribed, I WILL BUY YOU A PIZZA!

The lobster roll is amazing. I went there because it was on a list for best lobster roll in New England. I was not disappointed.

I love Tommy Doyles pizza. Very tasty. I took my dad there last week and we both got burgers, they were very good too. Not a bad little place in my opinion. I go there maybe once every month or two for lunch.

Big bar as you guessed. Not a place you want to hang out, not because of the area or anything like that, just kinda dumpy (and not in a good way) with no character. Dive bars can have a lot charm, not this place. It's like a bowl of Farina - lumpy and ugly. The food however isn't bad It's not great either but it's not bad. Gotten takeout there. Salads are pretty good. Steak tips are ok. Pizza is probably your best bet there. I agree with your review.
