Actually, a lot are writing ssc exam but they are not able clear it. The situation is similar to upsc. reason is, 1)competition is way more higher than tnpsc. For tnpsc group4 and group 2 , total applicants is around 10 to 15 lakh only. But for ssc the applicants is around 25 to 30 lakhs. Therefore the competition is way more higher than tnpsc. 2) we dont have good staff like north indians students have. Compare their math teachers with ours, our teachers are nothing. In addition to this , all of their teachers have cleared ssc exam atleast twice. But our teachers have not cleared it even once.

The main reason NCERT syllabus.. But tamil students majority in SCERT syllabus.. And also some exams conduct Hindi and English only..why that some exams conduct hindi compulsary..so all Central govt exam conduct only English either all languges... This is best solution my mind...

Very sorry to say that the News saying that "Students are not aware of SSC or not performing" is absolutely False. Our students are performing well in SSC and also in UPSC. But they are not selected. Only North indians are selected. Next, when i wrote SSC in 1986 to 1989, there was a choice of selecting REGION wise but, now it has been removed by the SSC wantedly. This plays a vital role in TN students getting through in SSC. This is also politics played by the CENTRAL GOVERNMENT
