The one important thing you didn't factor in this video is the use of the cones like once you start reversing and you see the middle cone via review mirror for instance star turning to the left to straighten.. No use of the cones to direct changes but it was a clean.video

So when u see the middle cone through review mirror u start tuning to the left?? Cuz im having trouble with this, i dont know when to turn left & i cant know when im at a 45 degree angle so estimation made me fail :/

How do I see the cones are alligned to my cars rear wheels ? Will they be visible through the rear window ?
@muhammadnomansaeed86078 жыл бұрын
Hi Patralika, You may focus on the blind spot. As the cone just starts appearing in the blind spot, the rear tires are paralell to the cone.

When ur parking with the cones. R u turning the wheel all the way to the left when the cone is next to the right passenger window?
@DJDanaScott9 жыл бұрын
set up beside the font set of cones. line your back tire up with that front row of cones. First turn your wheel all the way to the right. Once you get in at that 45 degree angle, that left corner cone would be in about the middle of the passenger window. Look over your left should and make sure your back tire on driver's side is in line with the back corner cone, if it's not quite there- back up until it is. if it's lined up, then turn your wheel all the way to the left to continue the park.... Before you turn it to the left, you have to make sure the rear of the car is in the box (without going too far). because if the whole rear isn't in the box before you turn the wheel all the way to the left then you won't finish inside, and you'll be too far from the curb. If you back in too far, then you'll hit the curb. The 45 degree sweet spot seems to be when the driver's side back tire get's in line with that back outside corner cone- then you are good to turn it to the left

@DJDanaScott8 жыл бұрын
indeed it would be a pass. The requirement in Massachusetts is to finish a foot from the curb- as stated in the video

After backing in at a 45 degree angle, WHEN do you start turning the steering wheel to the LEFT. I know when for a parked vehicle but NOT FOR THE CONES. Thanks.

Do you have to engage the parking brake? Will they fail you if you don't?
@DJDanaScott7 жыл бұрын
In Massachusetts they expect you to engage the parking brake EVERY time you park. Some examiners will tell you don't worry about it when they see you going for it because they see you know you are supposed to engage it, Others want you to see it all the way through. There's actually a law on the books in Mass. that requires all drivers to engage their e-brake everytime they park- doesn't get enforced though. Not sure about what other states require about the parking brake.
