Hi, I am getting a HS1 limit switch error in heating mode which was triggered by the LS1 trips. What do HS1 and LS1 stand for? Is it the heating high limit switch or the cooling pressure switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The unit was heating fine before a snow storm. At first it was giving a C#1 coil freezing error code. I turned rooftop power off for 5 minutes and the error went away. Now it's just runs for about 5 minutes in heating mode and burner shuts off and only blower fan running with the HS1 limit switch error. Thanks

HS1 is a fault code that locks out heating due to the limit terminal in the top left hand corner of the SSE unit control board stopped receiving voltage. The SSC unit control board monitors 24 V on that limit terminal however, there is a totally separate ignition control that controls the outputs in the safeties for heating. The SSC unit control board only monitors the safeties. LS one indicates that a limit switch has opened. A limit switch opening is usually due to an increase in supply her temperature. A limit switch is a safety device and should always be taken seriously. Be sure to follow manufacturers recommendations and requirements for gas, pressure, voltages, and maximum supplier temperature located on the data plate of the unit. A higher than normal supplier temperature typically caused by air flow restriction or higher than allowed. Gas pressure is most likely the cause of your issue. Only qualified licensed and insured HVAC service technicians/companies that are approved to work on equipment should attempt diagnosis or repair of HVAC equipment .

Yes I am a licensed hvac technician. I just haven't had much experience with this SSE. This unit comes with a VFD blower. By any chance can you give me the flow chart how to increase blower to 100% on the SSE control? Thank you.
