It’s a great game but boy is it a time sink. You start a new game, play a couple turns and next minute your hospice care workers are trying to get you away to go take your heart medication. You’ll get your money’s worth and if you don’t like it or try it, I beg you to listen to their OST, the soundtrack is phenomenal and relaxing as hell.

As someone who got into Endless Space 2 because of Seth's video, I thoroughly recommend. It can be a bit complicated at first, but after ~20 turns with the United Empire I was comfortable enough to jump in with the other factions. Personal favorites so far: Cravers (diplomacy? whats that?), Umbral Choir (they are a little awkward to figure out but I like the concept of being an unseen force watching over the galaxy), and the Vodyani (my favorite ship designs). I still kinda suck at this game, but I have enjoyed every minute of it. Music is excellent. Sleek UI. The Intro cinematics for each faction (you can find them all here on youtube) are really cool too. Have yet to touch multiplayer.

Yeah endless space is still fun single player, I’ve only ever played a little online and it can be rly fucking difficult aha. The empire building and story is interesting enough to make single player enjoyable.

For whatever reason, the thought of a 4X game in space, like Endless Space, makes it seem extremely complex for me, but I've tried Endless Legend, which is a more... grounded (hehe) 4X game in the same universe and I enjoyed it. If this game caught your eye, check out the Starsector review. I definitely want to play that one, but the payment provider scares me a bit. 🙀😅

@@solthegamer3769 to me it doesn't matter how good the gameplay is if the story sucks, when I play games for gameplay it's the ones that have no story at all. If there's a story I'll try to sit through it even if it's bad and just stop playing if it really is too awful. Even worse is when there's an interesting introduction to a story included at the start and the rest of the game is just gameplay without developing the story, then I finish the game and just feel disappointed no matter how good the gameplay was. The games that I remember and appreciate as my favourites are the ones with good stories and I just forget the rest

Alot of people say that react channels aren’t creative or good. But this is good and creative. Your edits are funny and creative. I also think that react channels add something to it. Like laughing with a friend. You could watch something by yourself and not laugh once but watch it with a friend and its the funniest shit. Reaction channels I feel are like that just a little bit. Sseth also in his video is a lot less emotional than we he streams or otherwise. He sounds very excited I don’t know why he sounds so monotone in his videos but he is funny too. If not a little unhinged lol.

Funnily enough, Sseth is probably right about the Humanity expanding to the stars. Just heard about some plans Japan shared about a Moon Settlement complete with a Monorail connected to Earth and Mars (Which probably means the plan is going to be reused to some extent for Mars.) and it was pretty wild.

Yeah. Those Desynchs are just terrible and game breaking. Had a multiplayer run once, which went pretty well. Roleplaying as Cravers, demanding ressources fromt he first other player I found or I rofl stomp him with my sizeable army. (He declined my "generous" offer and was annihilated). Then a Desynch happened and my entire economy suddenly collapsed. Couldn't safe it anymore and ragequit. Because I hate nothing more than technical problems, which aren't fixed after all those years.

Playing with strangers? Try co op focused games instead, there will be tons less grief and awkwardness thrown your way. GTA is definitely not the place to make friends, its mostly the place to get griefed over and over by the teenage misanthropes that lurk on the web to harass other players just trying to play for fun. (Doubly so if said players are women.)
