Now it was V2.3 and it was a huge improvement! No more efb bug and flyable fps for mid range machine and much smoother FMC

Use the arrow and keys to get the view you like, then Cntrl + numpad you want to assign it to.

No, when this was recorded it was possibly beta 5, just prior to release. SSG has announced an upcoming v2.3 with more features and better performance

We’ve installed 2.3 but haven’t flown it yet. If we do a video, it likely won’t be for another month due to some summer traveling. We could short list it though if there is sufficient interest.

Can you help me I got this b748 of from xplane store but look like it tablet was broken and I don’t know how to fix it I redownload it and it still got the same problem and also do you have any recommended sound pack for this giant bird?

To our knowledge no additional sound pack is available. We have not experienced the EFB issues you describe. It sounds like you’ve done the next thing we would suggest, a fresh aircraft installation. I believe stekeller on the XPlane.org forums is the developer for SSG. I would suggest first, confirming that, and second reach out to the dev. They’ve been wonderful to work with when we’ve experienced any issues.

Are the FPS better now or are they still the same? I’ve heated that the FPS are bad

Of course it will vary by system, but it felt smoother on mine than version 1.

Are they in the direction of adding a passenger floor like in a 747-400 aircraft?

Probably not. The -8 Inter has the upper deck, but I think to model the full lower deck would be too much of an FPS hit for most people. We’ve seen some complaints about the frame rates pre-vulkan, and adding that much modeling would do no favors.

I think its more of a "configuration manager" than an EFB, but we get your point. This aircraft is an undertaking I would not want to do. From the effort we've seen, we think this will answer the question of "What 747 should I get"?

The wing flex seems flat in the air, Id only consider buying when that is fixed. Great review though.

Can you clarify. Do you mean the click regions are awkward or small? Obviously the placement merely replicates Boeing, so SSG can't take credit or blame for those ergonomics.

Unless the aircraft has an updater application (like the skunkcrafts plugin), you will need to redownload the product and reinstall it. The stores will have the latest version.

@@Yonathanmoure We will have to look back at. I didn’t recall having issues, but then I generally couple to an ILS. Is your issue with the VNAV? It’s been so long since either of us flew it, probably during beta testing and the production of this video.

@@FlightBrothersFT it never enters the glide slope is my thing I know an arnav in VR approaches you have to land manually cuz it's not ILS but I thought on our nav approaches it would still enter a glycol to assist you with getting the proper descent for landing
