Nice tutorial! I just snagged the SSL Reverb for $17.99 Americano. Anytime I see SSL on blowout I try to pick it up, but I think this one may be the most useful for how I like to use reverb.

@@Fwuzeem I haven’t down loaded the demo but it is SSL and definitely worth 17.99. People seen to like it and it has a lot of good features packed in to it.

@@Magnetic1908 yeah I just compared to some other algo plugins and I bought it. It's not too bad, although I still think the reverbs you can get for Nebula by Acustica are the best ITB, but they're very CPU intensive.

Hi Sean. Hope you are staying healthy, safe and happy. I have been using the SSL bundle since it first came out and I love it! But you’re the first one I’ve seen making a review or demo on one of them. Great video, tho I wished you had made it longer and more detailed. Cause I love all of your videos. I really love these plugins from SSL, especially the saturation plugin! I use these plugins every day. And I think they tax my CPU lightly. Very lightly actually compared to many other plugins that are in the same genre. And these plugins are also by far the closest to the modern SSL boards out there! Good video. Thanks. I picked this up for $30 on a BF deal. I mean how could you not? I wasn't expecting much, but dang was I wrong. First, I dialed in a send bus with a large hall preset and about a 3s tail. Next, I proceeded with some blind A/B comparisons against my other favs. Surprised, I kept picking out FlexVerb, it's incredibly musical, and here I was barely scratching the surface. Can't wait to try some of the creative stuff Sean was doing here. Cheers~

Hello, I am a blind producer and bought your SSL template. I have modified it and made it absolutely amazing, I do have a problem though. I can’t figure out for the life of me to add a additional auxiliary track and be able to send one of your audio tracks as a sent to it so I could create a delay. Send. I could create the auxiliary without a problem. I could obviously place whatever delay I want, I’m looking at your other affects channels to see how you w routed it and I do the same thing, but can’t figure it out if you could please help me in anyway possible that would be amazing so I can continue mixing your song and perhaps I can send it to you so you can see how it sounds like it would mean a lot thank you.

Music sounds great! 🔥 Love the SSL GUIs and the rest of their lineup but the reverb is average at best and doesn't sound like their Xverb which was really good.

Best thing about the reverb is the built-in EQ. Me with my EQ putting it after every reverb I already have. UPDATE: Just seen it's also got a compressor, and a multiplier as well, so more than just EQ, which is very useable.

It’s always changing :) if I’m tracking, I try to keep at 192 or less. Otherwise, 512 for mixing and mastering.

Hi Guys , PLEASE Help .. i cant get logic to start up the SSL plugins in Logic 10.6 .. i can see them , have rescanned the plug ins in the plug in section and yet they still dont come up as an option to use. I know they work cause i used them on the same computer with iLok in abelton but cannot get them to work with logic any ideas ?

iLok is activated on my mac . and it says activated so its not iLok and again i can load them up and use them in abelton , its just logic thats having trouble

go in the file menu: plugin manager, if they aren't showing up you can download the latest installer and re-install

One of the more odd plugins I own …doesn’t the faders don’t respond well and don’t do what they say they do . I probably will disable this plugin unless they do an update that reduces The cpu and the reverb tail actually changes when you move the fader . It’s on sale right now but I really regret buying it after using it. The reverb sound is ok but I feel ripped off for sure

I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. as with any reverb, if you start using lots of instances with long decay times, it starts adding up quick :)

The most cpu intensive plugin Ive ever used. Soundtoys entire catalog running all at once uses less resources than 1 Flexverb.

Curious what your system specs are? DAW? Mac / Windows? In my experience, this one hasn't been out of the ordinary as far as reverb cpu resources go...

you can not dial in the resonance peaks on eq or compression . still nice to have these tools in one plugin but i found this plugin useless. for quick reverb grab i could use it but i aalready got better reverb plugins i guess. btw presets were also not great. they were just okay.
