Laparoscopic Nissen Fundoplication is a lifesaver. 22 years since my surgery and I have no reflux. The hiatal repair didn't hold for more than 5 years for me but it is asymptomatic, except for some noises when laying. I had Barrett's esophagus and pre-cancerous lesions. Speedy recovery.

Word of advice, being a good patient, patience is part of a positive outcome and recovery. Take it slow and don’t try to do too much too soon. I speak from experience having major surgery and feeling good, then overdoing it and setting myself back by weeks. Unsolicited advice from one who has been following you for many years.☮️❤️
