SSO Ambassadors: Part 2 The Dark Side ft. Rattle

Today I'm here with Rattle as a part of our series on SSO Ambassadors and we'll be taking a deeper dive into what some Ambassadors have unfortunately swept under the rug to have a perfect image of loving the community of SSO. This is a reuploaded new version since we got more new info to bring further context from the old version.

Hey, I know I'm commenting on this long after it was reuploaded but... I DO watch other content on YT. At around 26:45 you mentioned how SSO might be really messed up with how they blacklist and or hire ambassadors. I would like to point out that we're talking about a game company that LIED to everyone for TWO YEARS (!) about having a quest team when they did not, in fact have anyone for the main quests. So, yeah. I'd say SSO is EXTREMELY messed up in all manners. I left that game a good year now. I miss the horses, sure, but I don't miss the money pit it has become, nor do I miss a company that has lied and stolen so much from it's community. But I still love the video. Just wanted to put my thought out there.

I like this version better than the old version of the video. Thank you for changing some things that were wrong, apologised and gave more context to some of the stories. I kinda wish that I myself would have waited to comment on anything until I knew more context to some of the things. However, it is still disheartening to know both some SSO employees and ambassadors have acted such ways. I've personally have only good experience talking with some ambassadors, but I know that there are some players who unfortunately had bad experiences. When I have talked about the toxic positivity that is in the community on my insta I've actually got some dms who told me their stories, especially about the SSO Embassy server on DC. At the end of the day, the huge responsibility is on SSO for who they choose as their ambassadors. At the same time, the ambassadors as well has some responsibility themselves on how they are acting with the community. The age thing is also pretty concerning. You are giving a title and responsibility to a child that's probably gonna have to take some harsh critism sometimes. And children can be quite spontaneous in how they feel and think, which I think we have seen a lot of their reactions after the old version of this video. I hope SSO will give some kind of response and take the crisitism but most importantly the concern from the community. And like you said, It's not just only from one incidents, there are more stories like these. Sending a lot of strenght to the people who was deeply affacted by any of these actions. And a reminder to everyone here, don't harass the people in this video. There is no reason to sink lower. You are disappointed and frustrated that's fine. But just being unnecessary rude, hateful and harass other's doesn't make you any better person either. Thank you once again to you guys for making these videos. We should be able to talk about things like these in the community. I know some people have been a little bit torn about if is right to mention people in the video (I myself was also abit torn about this topic), but in the end these people are ambassodors, representing the game, company and the community's voice so they are kinda public figures and promoting the game.

Super happy to see the changes that needed to be made! Though seriously they really do need to manage their Ambassadors more closely because at this point it feels like they are allowing the Ambassadors lead themselves as long as they spam that good dose of Toxic Positivity. I also loved how you acknowledge that while these people are trying to change for the better, it doesn't cover up not only what they had done, but also what SSO refuses to do when those acts have been done. Everyone is allowed to do things in their real life, but need to understand that they are Ambassadors, they represent Star Stable and its community, what they do and post will Always have an effect on not just their image, but also the other Ambassadors and the Community. The image that was set is that, You can do whatever you want, from spamming Swastikas for the corrupted meaning, gaslighting/hosting witch hunt/send harassment to players with concerns, break the game's TOS, ruin chances of another player from getting picked for the title and so on, SSO won't do a thing as long as you keep those happy sparkle emojis coming!

One clear answer. Reputation. If you dont have a good reputation, sso will be so quick to ban or suspend you from something, but because these ambassadors have a good rep with sso, sso couldnt care less abt what they do.

Really not all that surprising that this is how dev's/ambassadors act (thanks hugely to young age and devs approving of that) with this being a mainly aimed at children game- with a very large player base of never ending youth recycling over and over. That said-It's really too bad tbh, its not at all how a company should be or operate and continue to see success. Really is a shame sso isnt actively taking note of well known established creators, properly rewarding those who put forth that effort and actively try to improve the game.. because there certainly is a large basis of that who have really good critque's and suggestions.

Actually there is no blacklist of any kind. I also let the SSO KZbinr in question know about this (who hasn't been named here). I believe she still has every chance to become an ambassador.

The staff must review what ambassadors influence players. I, who come from a Jewish family, and thousands of young players should not have to face even more anti-Satanism than we have been through for so many years. I understand saying stupid things, we all do but sso should still have consequences. This just shows that the SSO is trying to hide from the problems that ambassadors are making. There are so many more who deserve to be ambassadors, not people with negative aspects, it will not be good in the end. The video you make is very important and luckily there are players who actually talk about this. We shouldn't hate the ambassadors, we have to make them understand as well as employees that we need change. this is not okay. open your eyes STAR STABLE ONLINE,stop being selfish! 😕

yeah the two people in those chat logs aren't ambassadors and never were, it is easy to confirm that...also that person that was "being harassed" was a GOSSIP PAGE. a page for drama...who was harassing and belittling people anonymously lmao. i remember that page well and all the other "tea" pages that followed in its wake and all their inflammatory comments. very sad that this ambassador series has inaccurate information, i had hope but it seems to be another youtuber wanting views as opposed to being truthful.

Hi this was based on what was sent and told to us and according to the source that sent this to Rattle, they said they were ambassadors. As for the censoring some names, I was told to sensor the names the source said were ambassadors at the time that happened. The overall purpose of that part was to show mainly how the behavior of amassadors passed onto others within the community in the video. I just did what I was told by Rattle according to the source that sent them in when we redid part 2. As for the person below me who thinks this is for views, I hate to break it to you, but it's not. We did this series to not only truthfully speak up on the flaws of the ambassador program and SSO themselves, but also share the stories we were told by people that sent them in to us. We even went as far as to research them further and double check the accounts according to the sources especially when we redid part 2. Honestly, if I was wanting views I wouldn't be throwing shit around like this. These stories are serious and regardless of what's it like now, people got hurt and what we're doing is giving a voice to these people that wanted their stories to be heard. I hope this clairfies things further and this is the best I way I can explain this and if you want to question it further, ask Rattle. I don't know what else to say other than this is what a source sent to us and told us they were ambassadors. I hope I cleared up anything confusing and I'd apperciate if you watch the series through considering how not only there's a lot of proof that backs up these stories, but also how we dove in further and questioned why things like these stories weren't solve prior regarding to people still in the ambassador program.That's really all I have to say and if you need to question this further I recommend going to Rattle and ask because at the time of redoing part 2 most of the added stuff mainly went to Rattle. Hope this helps and if not then that's the best I got🤷‍♀

@@madsssds It was sent to us in a collage so once they sent it to us separately as I stated before I only had the context that it was showing the behavior of some ambassadors hence why I did my best with censoring the names out of respect and like I said before, this is as much as I know since I was told to put it in while remaking part 2. Which is why I suggest asking Rattle since it was sent to her first and I only had the context of that it was showing the behavior of some people that were ambassadors based on the screenshots. I really don't know what else to tell you besides this is all that I know.

This video is just shaming ambassadors more than they already are. Ambassadors are literally walking on eggshells with everything they do and being looked at constantly bc of what they do and who they are. They are normal people and make as many mistakes as someone who is not ambassador. A lot of this information is old and outdated and a lot of it happened even before some of these people were ambassadors. If you get to know some of these people in real life u would realize that they are truly loving people who messed up one time and are now being dragged for it.
