Ahh as I expected these updates to be, sadly i'm still disappointed about it cause I know SSO didn't say anything major about the customization so i'm not trying to be like "OMG SSO SAID THIS AND WE DIDN'T GET IT BLAH BLAH" No I just hoped that they would tweak the stables so that we could do some hardcore customizing for example being able to show our tack in the tack room, put in new showering animations, the option to change the hay/water bin to what we would like, put different types accessories all around the stables, make the dressing room more comfortable looking along with the tack and feed room. The customizing will look cool though to change the themes though I do like that but I hope that one day they will add much more to make our stables feel a lot more personal to us as if we were designing it ourselves lol! But thank you for showing us what the update will look like!

They never said this would be the only update on Customization we will get. The whole point of changing up the code behind our stables was to allow for more extensive features to be added later. This could very likely be just the beginning of what they plan to do.

I’d like to add, SSO said in a blog post earlier this year that the first release of homestable customization will just be general themes, further customization will come later. But good news is that they’re asking for player submissions for ideas.

I like that we will be able to color our stable. But it's sad there's no items customization. Like putting a lounge space in one of the stable rooms, or putting flowers etc. etc. They teased us with furniture some years ago. Would've been the chance.

Ignoring all the people complaining about themes likely costing a shit ton, this looks amazing and I'm honestly SO excited. Yes I get some people aren't gonna be able to buy new themes but SSO will likely have one "free" theme, which is likely going to be moorland since it has the most. Keeping that in mind, that is still an ungodly amount of customization for a "starting" theme. People really love to just complain about the cost of stuff, don't like it don't play the game? It's a company, a company that needs to make money and if you don't like that factor just stop complaining and deal with it or stop playing sso. Sso isn't going to stop making things that'll cost money, that's how a company go's under, if we want SSO around for many more years to come, people need to accept that they are going to be doing everything they can to squeeze money out of it. Sad fact of adult worlds little children, nothing is free, nothing.
