Red Lake is not remote....half the state heads up here for early ice.....and you can't get that far from shore since you can only fish the upper eastern 1/3....

Red Lake Remote is the only place I stay out of now. Used to do JRs but that got to be a little too crazy. Super awesome and nice family that own red lake remote and awesome shacks to stay in.

Great vid as always really enjoy your fishing open water tournaments with your friends my 16 year old son turned me on to your channel. Headed to my early ice fishing spot every thing in tow but never figured to check ahead to see if both places had minnows. Drove 45 min from home to find out no minnows no spikes no wax worms. 5 years this place never not had minnows call before you assume

Not that it’s a bad strategy by any means but you don’t really need to find structure early ice. Most of the fish are cruising shallow flats and tend to me fairly bunched up.

IM SUPER DUPER INTERESTED IN ONE THING I SEE YOU GUYS DOING... how come you don't use a finicky fooler instead of the ifish pro? U can use any rod (nooo clip needed) they are tried and true in 30+ mph winds with 0 false flags... the covers keep the holes open MUCH better... kinda turns the ifish pro into a trash can filler in my opinion... jw if its sponsorship only keeping u from using em? Or have you just not tried one? Just curious... cuzzz I promise you'll become a true lover of em... the set up is way faster and break down way faster... idk what else you could ask for lol...
