There are half a dozen different Liturgies that exist for the Mass. Besides The Roman rite, you also have The Byzantine rite, Alexandrian rite, Antiochene rite, East Syriac rite, and Armenian rite. All these have valid Eucharists to my understanding. Now, if you count the Orthodox Church, then it gets more complicated but I understand you have a valid Eucharist still. So please explain to me why the Novo Ordous rite doesn’t have a valid Eucharist? Before you say that the prayers of Consecration where changed, think about the first Mass ever. The Last Supper with Jesus. Now compare The Last Supper with The Tridintine Mass. Do they look anything alike?

Breath takingly beautiful. I was taken back to my childhood when I was an altar boy at Holy Mass. Thank you for this video. It was as Holy Mass should be, dignified, reverent and holy. It is irreplaceable. Nothing can surpass it. Let's hope that minimalism is a temporary feature in the liturgical practice of the Church.

I am blessed to have a SSPX church in my home town and be able to attend this beautiful high Mass I especially love to sing the Aspergers me at the beginning of Mass.It takes me back to when I was a child, when this beautiful Mass was said in every Roman Catholic church throughout the world. Then came the anti Pope Paul V1 who promulgated Vatican 2 with the help of 6 Protestant clergymen. Changed the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass; created a new Protestantized Mess in the vernacular, rife with liturgical abuses and created a completely new religion. Rome has lost the faith. Holy Mother church has been destroyed by modernists. Bergoglio is the supreme Pontiff of the Norvus Ordo church. It is totally alien to the Holy Pontifical Roman Catholic church. The Norvus Ordo church and it's new religion is making a mockery of the church Jesus Christ created. It is the church created by man. It is the worship of man. Traditional Catholics who are faithful to Holy Mother church, thank with all our hearts Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre who gave us the Society of Saint Pope Pius X. The modernists can try as they may to destroy what Our Blessed Lord created, but they will lose. Christ said to St Peter, Upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of Hell will never prevail against it. All those who profess to be Roman Catholic and who embrace the Norvus Ordo, are living in ignorance, and for the salvation of their immortal souls, they need to return to tradition; for their is no salvation outside of the true Roman Catholic church. The closest to our family is an hour away diocesan Latin mass.... I’ve been to 1 SSPX mass, my children were confirmed by Bishop Fellay... it only took that 1 time to know that THIS was how it should be!!! We keep praying a SSPX will come our way as the nearest is 3 1/2 hours away😔

We travelled over an hour one way for decades to assist at the TLM. We still have to travel though it is under an hour now. The sacrifice is worth it. I cannot go elsewhere for Mass as my soul is not fed at anything but the TLM. Make the long voyage to be at the TLM, it's worth it and your sacrifice will not be wasted. God bless.

this is what I thought Catholicism was after I became Eastern Orthodox. And then I saw a novus ordo mass and felt like dying. TLM is what all Catholics should strive for. It doesn't matter if you dont know the liturgical language. Thats literally how it is for us Eastern Orthodox converts.

I grew up evangelical, and I'm now a convert to the Orthodox church. when I was looking between the orthodox or catholic church. I visited a local catholic church after attending an Orthodox church for a few months and it felt so protestant to me(i now know it was the Novusordo Mass) with secular(classical) music, ugly modern art, and handing communion to people to eat(along with lay people going up to the altar) it just seemed like another protestant-Esque church to me. I wish I had known about SSPX then, maybe things might have gone differently. Well, I'm happy in the Orthodox church now(and now I'm certainly not going to the Latin church) but id certainly like to attend a Western Rite Liturgy, I know the Antiochian Archdiocese has those.

I always wondered when they renovate a church, especially a cathedral, why they must rip out the high altar? It's usually the first thing to go. It serves a valuable purpose. The Blessed Sacrament is kept there, surrounded by flowers, candles and the beautiful artwork. When the the tabernacle is relocated from the middle, they usually place it in a chapel or on a side altar that is usually bare. Sometimes you'll see 2 candlesticks and other times nothing. Our St. Joseph Cathedral in Buffalo NY has been redone twice already. Where the high altar was, it's now a great big empty space. When there's a special event, they usually seat all of the priests back there. They made a real mess out of the cathedral. Where they used to have statues, now they have just plaques of Saints. They kept Mary, the Sacred Heart, Theresa and Anthony. The rest are gone. Who knows where they went. I've read Vatican II and nothing was said about all of this awful remodeling. You are perfectly allowed to put a Novus Ordo altar in front of the original high altar. I didn't see anything about gutting out the inside in the name of progress.

Pre Vatican 2. None of that guitar and tambourine Hootenanny Mass in the vernacular. The "altar boys" (not exactly young boys) are very disciplined and reverential, which is something one does not see often in most young men. This is amazing, like going back in time to a period before social chaos and violence became "normal."

Why does the mass have to be in Latin when the apostles spoke in Aramaic, Greek, and Latin. Why can't the mass be spoken in English but keep the rest of the traditions? Lastly, if we want to keep with tradition, shouldn't the mass be spoken in Aramaic, the language that Jesus spoke. I am NOT a fan of the Second Vatican Council and I believe it was created to destroy the Church from within.
