This new Immaculata church only has a free standing altar so mass can be said versus populum. It's more Novus Ordo than the Bl. Stanley Rother Shrine.

I am not even Christian ( I am Jewish)- but this is religion as it should be. The modern Catholic church has lost so much of what made it beautiful and holy and true- the SSPX as I see it, has been faithful in preserving these things.

If you went to a Mass at a SSPX Chapel you’d recognize much of the traditional Jewish worship that has been retained. I was a hairdresser and most of my clients, in my beauty salon, were old Jewish women. I had some who were Holocaust survivors with the tattoos on their forearm. I learned much wisdom from them. I realized how much we have in common, more than with Protestants.

What a beautiful church! I, myself am Catholic and I remember one time I was having a conversation with my dad who is also Catholic and I asked him that along with giving money to those in need, what else I could do to give something meaningful to my community if I was to ever win a large sum of money playing the lottery. He answered "build a church (building/structure), for your community". This answer really caught my interest because I attend mass in a poor yet growing rural community in far west Texas. A community where a new church is definitely needed and will be appreciated for years to come. Maybe/hopefully someday I will get to live that now dream of mine. To build a Church just as beautiful as this one if not as large for my own community. I would of course build it with my own hard earned money as well if I was ever blessed enough to do so. 🙏🙏

The mass of the ages is in Aramaic. It developed and became offered in other languages including Greek, Latin etc. I love the Latin mass but I know that it is not the most ancient form of the mass.
