Hi Andrew, I have a quick question, what is the difference between case statement and IIF in SQL. I know both can be used to achieve similar tasks but when to use CASE and when to use IIF? Thank you.

Hi Ravi! The IIf function appeared in SQL Server 2012 and is useful when you have a single condition to test as it requires less typing than the equivalent Case expression. If you have multiple conditions, Case expressions are easier to use than nested IIf functions (in my opinion at least!). I hope that helps!

Hello WiseOwl! Could you explain how to insert a picture/shape in Excel from an Access Data Base attachment' field using VBA? I can only get the file name, I couldn't get the picture itself.

Hello Corneliu! I haven't worked with attachment fields much but it seems that the standard approach to getting the attachment out of the database is to use the SaveToFile method docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/client-developer/access/desktop-database-reference/field2-savetofile-method-dao From there you can insert the saved file into Excel using the Shapes.AddPicture method docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/vba/api/excel.shapes.addpicture I hope that helps!

@@corneliuzabolotnic Hi Corneliu, I'm not entirely sure why you receive an error. Which specific library are you trying to set a reference to? Are you doing this in Excel or in Access? Rather than referring to the old DAO library the name to look for in the References dialog is "Microsoft Office 16.0 Access Database Engine Object Library" I hope that helps!
